So the long.and short of this is that men are genetically predisposed to being players and women are duplicitous sluts that will mate with one man and have another raise his child. I have a foil to your argument, what if a man is of such high value that even approaching a woman is beneath him?

That's pretty intense stuff. You stirred the guy hornet nest, and you definitely deserve a medal for that. At the very least, the article is honest. Nice.
ha very nice!but it was very opinionated although the points are pretty good logically they lack in situational vitality. But on the other hand girls do want a strong guy to protect them. I have found the nicer I am to a girl the less she desires me. When your a nice guy and you don't get any girls. But then I joined the military now no one can control me and if another guy doesn't like it screw him...I am a nice submissive guy turned self confident now when I go home I am desriable ;).
Wow, I think I just fell in love. Of course I know that statement just labled me as a "boy" but I supposed since we don't know each other our genetic compatibility just wasn't meant to be. So sad...
Interesting article, I like the debate between v0nDuch and TimeAndTimeAgain. I agree with some parts of this article, but I have to agree with TimeAndTimeAgain that if I found out that someone was with me 'cause they thought I was a leader, or socially successful, or genetically superior. I would be p*ssed off. However in my experience I unfortunately can't say you are wrong.
Excellent take. I'm already pretty ewll read on the evo psych stuff, so this confirmed a lot of what I already knew, but you put some of the concepts in a new phrasing that makes them feel "fresh".

I think genuine nice guys are mad because by feminine "thought" processes, basically any pushy, loud-mouth, selfish guy can qualify as "attractive". While men while are very kind, considerate and care about others are automatically tagged as "weak" and "unattractive" to women. They are angry that women can be so mindless unthinking in their typical "jerk" fever choices of men.
TimeAndTimeAgain also raises some excellent points. It'll be interesting to see the inevitable counterpoint.
