    Hi! Cool MyTake :)

So 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder' is talking about this right?

Thanks! I'm actually talking about the fact that physical appeal is only an aspect of beauty, beauty itself is deeper than that and harder to achieve; it doesn't only depend on a nice face or body

That's correct. However, they shouldn't become too ugly, since that shows lack of good health.

But if a beautiful face is accompanied by a total cunt attitude, then I will not hesitate to kick her out.

If you call a person "beautiful on the inside" then that makes me question, okay, what about the people who are beautiful on the outside? Are they not beautiful on the inside as well?

Personality traits are subjective, beauty is more objective

take for example a rusty old bike, some might look at that and go "ugh it looks so old, it's horrible etc" but I see it as, it's a natural process that is taking place, and the oxygen in the air is amazingly doing it's job of rusting the metal and breaking it down. Somehow I can see beauty in that

I'm sorry you can't understand, but really, it makes the world around you all that much more beautiful and real if you can just see beauty in good, in bad, in ugly, and just in everything. If you can see the beauty in catastrophes then you can understand why I think like this :)

I can't really agree, there. Like when Harvey hit Houston, I didn't say, "Oh look at how the seasons bring even more water through these ecosystems!" Or, when I see a messy amount of mold on my perfectly fine sandwich, I don't say, "Oh, nature, you silly thing!"

    Sorry but I disagree
There are people that are universally considered attractive such as Brad Pitt or Margot Robbie and very few people would say they're not attractive

This shows that attractiveness is not subjective
Maybe for averagish people. But models and gods are universally beautiful

With men, it makes you wonder: Would Brad Pitt be considered attractive if he wasn't rich, or famous?

I saw a Netflix documentary on an experiment, where most women rated a guy a 2/10 when they saw him. Then, his income was shown-which was $500,000 per year as a brain surgeon, and the next group of women rated him a 7/10(or higher).

It goes to show how women are so into social status, and income. I see it all the time in real life too.

that's not what I said. I said that it's fine to say they aren't attractive. I also said I don't believe everyone is physically appealing. But answering to whether or not they are beautiful is way more complicated than just being physically appealing. You have to know what they are like as a person and stuff, not just looks.

lol has nothing to do with dating! Yea, I agree that I am not attracted to every single guy there is, but it doesn't make him not beautiful. I like to see it from my Picasso example: just because something doesn't appeal to you in anyway possible, doesn't mean it's not beautiful. There lots of beauty in this world that not every will be able to appreciate, and that includes me. I am trying to learn to appreciate things that don't appeal to me, especially because that helps me to be grateful when I find something stunning

plus, your wrong about looks being 100% everything. Anyday, I think you'd bang a somewhat attractive girl who knew how to make you feel good and stuff over a super hot girl who's awkward as hell and doesn't make you reach your max point.

''I am not attracted to every single guy there is''
''helps me to be grateful when I find something stunning''

The very fact you are not attracted to everyone, And you can refer to some people as ''stunning'', Is just proof that some people are more attractive then others, For you to find them stunning, By nature makes others less stunning (Uglier).

We are Human beings, Not art, Our beauty is not some fung-shwei 'point of view', 'eye of the beyholder' stuff, Were disgusting, horrible, vain, vile creatures who mentally dismiss people who dont meet someform of social / instinctual criteria of beauty standards.

Humans cannot be compared to art, We are not art, We are biological pieces of shit, Lmao.

lol you are missing my point. just because I'm not attracted to something doesn't mean someone else doesn't know how to appreciate it's beauty. I don't; drink alcohol of any sort I think it's disgusting, unhealthy, and just bad, especially because I'm 16 and we made beer at school in bio class and I literally almost threw up because it was so bad. If you gave me the best wine in the world I;d probably spit it out in 0.3 seconds. but does the wine's value decrees/ beauty decrease just because I can't appreciate it? hell no. Who said art had to be beautiful? once again, I stated that in my MyTake. Art can literally be the nastiest thing you've ever seem but it's still art.

Actually it is not. Let me give example with acting. Suppose a woman is acting on screen, that she is a dancer, is practicing some moves but can't, and at last she finally could. Her entire acting could be horrible except the last shot where she exhales after she was finally successful. You could tell that one part was good, but overall it was meh.

I understand what you mean. But again, you are judging her dancing based on what you think her dancing should be like. If it doesn't turn out t be what you wanted to see, she made a "mistake". Back to my picasso example. I really like tumblr art and certain colours and what not. I think faces should look like proportional human faces to be art. But if I applied those standards to judge picasso's art, he's be a failing artist right there. but he's not. it's good to be open minded. as much as that dancer may not have reached the goal expected of her, she made her own dance/ art piece regardless of what others deem as flawed

it's funny, because according to humans, humans are the most complicated things in the world. and according to our own standard, mathematics and science dictate beauty but it really doesn't. I don't go up to a tree and judge how straight all the limbs are. I can appreciate the beauty of all the parts of the tree and its differences with other trees. All the standards we compare everything to was made by us. Think about it, we kill animals because we believe we are more important than them. lots of it also relates to religion, but again, not all people believe in it.
