You are not entitled to anyone's respect.
Most if not all of these women aren't apologizing for lol. Forgetting to shave maybe and cursing depending on where lol. Like "Fuck! Pardon my language" then continues to tell the story that got her going.
I also have a preference for heavy metal and rock music. I like goth and skulls and anything of the horror genre. I also love video games and prefer DC to Marvel.
I'm not apologizing for any of that.

I agree with some and disagree with some of the things in this list, but all in all, I think this MyTake was wholly cringe-inducing.
You don't have to apologize for anything. But you DO have to live with the consequences of your actions.

Body hair is natural. I shave but if I didn’t, it wouldn’t be the end of the world... to anyone worth a damn anyway.
I don’t sleep around but before my man I’ve had my share of lovers, just as any being has.
I work hard to stay at my current 98 lbs so if I have an occasional porter house steak with a loaded baked potato and a nice bowl of ice cream to wash it down with, that’s what imma gon do. I’ll work off the extra calories in bed at the end of the evening.
So you aren't nasty or fat. Maybe a ho though. Not every person has had their share of lovers but you can justify that to yourself all you like.

I've never heard of a guy referred to as trash but I've heard plenty of women called trash (for doing an ounce of what men do). I think that's the point MzAsh was trying to make.
@bailey11 I lose respect for guys too if they do that, except for the tattoos. If guys drink alcohol or do hook ups I lose respect for them though just like I do for women.
Yeah I don't mind if guys have tattoos, but I lose respect for them if they have earrings and am fine with women having those.

You never have to apologize for them, but you should also not whine when you are held accountable for them or they affect you negatively later on.

I don't know. There are quite a few other comments from people who seem to care a lot.
Ok I’ll tell you how much this doesn’t matter then.
1. It is considered impolite for either gender to curse. Personally, I don’t give a shit go right ahead. If anything, cursing in moderation when you aren’t mad shows that you don’t live life with a broom shoved up where the sun doesn’t shine
2. No one blames you if you don’t want any kids. They are a huge responsibility. There’s no real rush to have any if you aren’t prepared to handle one.
3. I’ve actually seen more men argue this than women. Burps, farts even periods aren’t anything to be ashamed of. Any rational human being knows that those things are difficult to control. Just say excuse me if something like that happens and no one would care.
4. Go ahead and sleep with as many people as you want. I don’t care. Just make sure you and your partner uses protection.
5. Missing several days of shaving won’t kill you. I don’t care if my girl forgets to shave as long as she doesn’t let it get out of control just as how I won’t let my facial hair get out of control.
6. Eat as much as you want. I don’t care. Just realize the possibility of you getting sick afterwards for eating too much as men have to deal with that too.
7. If you want alcohol get it. No one is stopping you. As long as you drink responsibly, no one would bat an eye.
8. Men have to sit like that because of ballsack placement and hip alignment. No one is stopping you from being comfortable just be aware of others.
9. Not everyone likes cooking but it is a life skill. If you hate cooking so much, maybe your partner is willing to help you. I don’t find it fun either but it’s just following instructions.
10. The only person who would probably get on your case about smiling is your boss. If you are angry be angry but don’t take it out on others.
11. I don’t know who is making you apologize for this but people don’t care about what you wear as long as it is appropriate for where you will be. If you want to wear pants go ahead.
12. Tattoos are a problem for anyone if they get one that is on their face or is worn as a sleeve. If you want a tattoo, get it.
13. No one is making fun of you for being your own person, the choice you made maybe, but no one will insult you for your ability to choose how to live your life.
All that being said, I have no idea who is making you apologize for all this but if anyone does, you don’t have to justify yourself to them. Tell them to piss up a rope and move on.

Although cooking is something everyone should know irrespective of your gender. You can't expect others to cook for you forever.
