Feminists seem to be constantly complaining about harmless comments or silly things like the "male gaze" or "man-splaining". We need to stop pretending that women are all oversensitive children. Of course there are genuine sexist comments that are made, but when you complain about things that are completely harmless, it undermines every woman who actually faces sexist discrimination. Here are 5 reasons why feminists and SJWs need to stop complaining about harmless comments.

1. It perpetuates the stereotype that women are overly-sensitive

We don't cry because you made an offensive comment. Stop making it out like we do, you're only making it harder for us.

2. Often times the comments aren't even sexist!

Half of the things they complain about aren't even sexist! Saying that someone is "mansplaining" is absurd; men are condescending or dismissive to one another all the time.

3. It's insulting - Women aren't delicate flowers

We can take care of ourselves, we don't need protection from "mean words". It's especially annoying when male-feminists try and speak for us and "protect" us from people saying mean things. We are just fine on our own, thank you very much.

4. It undermines every woman who actually faces sexist discrimination

A lot of women face people making horrible, sexist comments from time to time and when you complain about the time your coworker talked over you and call it "sexism", it undermines and diminishes claims from women who are actually discriminated against.

5. It's stupid!!

Why are you complaining about the time your boss talked over you? Why do you assume that it's because you're a woman? Have you honestly never seen the same thing happen to men? A guy asked you out at work and this is somehow sexism? What is wrong with you people?

Most of the complaints are completely absurd and certainly aren't gender specific... When you complain about such menial things, you make it considerably harder for women to be taken seriously in the workplace - so just stop!

I actually met this great girl from japan the other day who stopped me on the street and asked me if i wanted to talk about the underage sex slaves that are becoming a real problem in las vegas, and we ended up having a really long conversation about the issues her organization is trying to fix, and their solution is just to raise more money create more documentary videos about it, and i explained to her that she's gotta steer clear of these feminists groups that want to hijack issues like this that are actually a part of the problem. Because what happens, especially in places like Nevada where prostitution is even legal, is these psychotic feminists will treat men absolutely terribly, and so there is this huge portion of men who spend much of their lives unsatisfied sexually, and they turn to the only options that they have and usually feel pretty crap about paying for it. they don't know if the girl is 18, they don't know if she's there against her will, they're usually not even happy to be forced into that predicament, but the most effective solution to these people who kidnap these girls and force them to do these sexual acts is to take away the demand that they profit from, which means THE most effective solution to dissuading this kind of criminal market is ensuring men are satisfied without having to turn to prostitution, in the same way that states that have legalized marijuana have actually shown to reduce consumption of harder drugs like heroin and cocaine and reduce the influence of gangs in the area without needing to resort to drastic police measures. All you have to do is take away the very thing that makes their crime profitable--which in this case, is feminists.

Hahahaha! Great post! I'll give you one other that occurred to me the other day that the SJWs will DEFINITELY get upset about. In my opinion, their insistence on being hyper-sensitive to fucking EVERYTHING has led DIRECTLY to the popularity of people like Donald Trump. I mean DIRECTLY! You might even say they are the FOUNDERS of Donald Trump!

What made me think of this is that RIDICULOUS "controversy" about Ellen DeGeneres and Usain Bolt. People crying that she was being racists? Are you freaking joking? She was basically saying the dude is just unbelievable on the track which he is. Also, as far as I'm aware, she has NO history of spreading or even harboring racists views. And yet they went after her? WTF? All that really does is ENCOURAGE and promote a backlash against "PC" (hello Mr. Trump!) and makes decent people retreat further away from ANY engagement with minorities because who wants to risk a misinterpretation that can be damaging? It's just not freaking worth it!

A couple of radical feminists had an argument with me in the subway about masplanning even though there were loads of seats available naturally I told them to go fuck themselves and nicely pointed out to the fat vocal one that she was taking up two seats with her massive ass which shut her up.

@madhatters4 One of the major things I learned in martial arts and in everyday life is to control the situation and to stop something like what I described from escalating which it would had I shut them down. You cannot reason with unreasonable people, if you can walk away from a fight then do it but when confronted do not show any weakness as it encourages attack and always be prepared to fight when you need to.

Agree! My girlfriend was recently harassed by one of her coworkers and although her boss dealt with it really well (the guy was fired), it was really difficult for her and I'm sure other women (and men) go through similar things. The women who say that having their opinion dismissed by their male boss is sexism, have clearly never been on the receiving end of actual discrimination.

The term "sexism" barely means anything anymore. We need to use to only describe actual cases of sex discrimination.

Manstincts - Instincts that only men have and will understand. Also a collection and sub-sets of male common sense.

Male talks / men talks (Männergespräche) - Conversations, that men have between them commonly without women as the audience involved. In these conversations we speak about stuff, that we rather would not let the women hear but if we do, we consider her a special someone worthy of it.

Don't know mansplaining however.
