The Righteous Woman is a belief in some females that women have a distinct moral obligation to have one another’s backs no matter what aka (blind loyalties). This kind of sentiment is best simplified by Madeleine Albright’s famous quote shown below.

The basic idea is that since all women experience sexism and similar struggles, they should be more attuned to the gendered barriers that other women face. In turn, this heightened awareness should lead women to foster alliances and actively support one another not the opposite.

If women don’t help each other, this is an even worse form of betrayal than those committed by men not helping them. And hence the comment by Madeleine Albright I mentioned earlier,

*Essentially, there are several reasons women will support a man but not anouther woman.*

• Because they project their unwanted parts of themselves onto the other women. Especially, their fear, envy, jealousy, suspicion, resentment, rage, anxiety, or lack of self-esteem and confidence.

• Because many have little to no self esteem and usually prefer hanging out with guys because they feel that they are not judged as much around men as they are other women.
• They will always take the man's side in a argument and lack any loyalty to their own gender. Sad stuff if you think about it. Everyone needs both male and female friends in life.

• Because many are victims of sexual abuse sadly. Sometimes they have a odd connection or view of men. Sometimes an unhealthy attachment towards males similar to a Stockholm Syndrome or a Daddy Issues

• Because they can simpley get away with it without any issue; as a sport, fun, cure for boredom, or even that they have been raised with all boys in childhood. Which would make sense about friendships with more males as an adult.

• Because of their lack of curiosity/tolerance of differences in other women suggests they probably don’t like themselves much really.
• They need constant reminders that they are pretty or cool which men will happily give them. When anouther female probably wouldn't.

• Because they don’t have the interpersonal and intrapersonal communication skills to recognize or alter their behavior.

*Those are the ones that have No understanding towards their own gender at all, to the point they can't even have a simple conversation with them.*

*I'm not saying that it's not okay to have mainly just guys as friends, I'm just saying you do really need some girlfriends too. If that's only a couple, girlfriends are still needed in your life.*

*Break-ups happen and men leave you. When or if they do leave, you can always count on your girlfriend's to be there for you. Because they were there before that man came and they will be there after that man leaves.*

Girls should be each other's biggest supporters. Being a Righteous Woman is a wonderful thing. I wish more women could/would be one too.

Christians suffer discrimination and sometimes persecution, so we should have each other's backs.

Southerners are the victims of prejudices and stereotypes, so we should understand and support each other.

Men (yes, men!) suffer from some common disadvantages and impediments and we should have each other's backs.

High IQ people suffer from some stereotypes (sterile, no common sense) and resentment so they should support each other.

Musicians are stereotyped (self-absorbed drug abusers) and have unique problems so they should support each other.

A little context, perhaps? Madeline Albright explained during a 2016 rally for Hilary Clinton... " “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other.” It is a phrase I first used almost 25 years ago, when I was the United States ambassador to the United Nations and worked closely with the six other female U. N. ambassadors."
That's the original context. She invoked it again during Hilary's campaign and then ended up apologizing for it, because she realized it was being taken as "you'll go to hell if you don't vote for Hilary".

The idea that ANYONE has a distinct "moral obligation" to have another persons back, based SOLELY on GENDER, no matter WHAT they do or say (that's the implication), is not only wrong but inherently dangerous. Loyalty is one thing, but "blind loyalty" is what lands you in jail or worse, and being members of the same gender is no basis for really no basis for either. Actions, words and character are the basis for loyalties, not reproductive organs.

Should women support women - sure, if what they're doing is worth supporting, and so should men. Should women empower other women? Absolutely, and so should men. That's what a REAL man does. But I can't imagine supporting a man SIMPLY because he's a man, or being "gender loyal" no matter what that man does, or did. In my view, neither should a woman extend that to ANY woman no matter what she does or says. What she does, and says, IS what matters, because it shows who she is.

I have less than a handful of true friends, and dozens of acquaintances, and I don't mistake one for the other just because we share some commonalities. When, and if, a true friend starts doing stuff that's really wrong in my eyes, I will talk to them about it and tell them, as I'd hope they would do with me. So far, I can say that's NEVER happened to me, with a real friend, about anything significant. If it happens with acquaintances, and if I really feel the need, then I speak my peace. If their actions are bad enough in my view, and they don't think they are and maintain them, I just don't associate with them any longer. I certainly wouldn't support them, my gender or not, if I don't like what they're doing.

All human beings in one way or another possess ability to cause harm. Solidarity is very important as a means of support and effecting positive change.. not as a tool to do harm.

Of course lines are not always clear sometimes a wrong thing was the right thing and supper is given. People know when tyey has to do something out if line one principle or out of necessary, as apposed to for pleasure or sheer vindictiveness.

I fully support supportive behavior.. And I’ll go out of my way to support the oppressed.. but exterior packaging of a person does not Give Carte Blanche for support no matter what the actions. Nazis came in female packaging.

What you posted on Albright reminds me of a segment on 60 minutes this past weekend. Everyone knows about the PPE shortage our country has had as of late because of COVID. But what is taking so long in getting more PPE? Pete Navarro told 60 minutes. "We're going as fast as we can. We have companies re-tooling as we speak to meet the demand". When pressed about it already being two weeks, 60 Minutes asked "how were we not prepared for this". Navarro replied, " if you want someone to blame. Blame America's addiction for cheap products built only by cheap labor. All the PPE we need is made overseas". Then 60 minutes gave a list of 70 countries that are RESTRICTING SUPPLY to the USA right now. At that point the patriot in me got very angry. Because by that very act these nations are essentially signing death certificates of American citizens.
But then i thought about it a bit. Are they restricting it just so they can watch us burn. Or are they doing it so as not to deplete their own supply? I mean this a global problem and is an American life more valuable than another? The patriot in me says yes. The Christian in me says no.
I'm just saying maybe there was context to Albrights statement. Maybe she saw it as saving more lives in the long run. Maybe she didn't though. I know i couldn't just write off a half million lives like that either way.

Friends are important. Some of the best things friends have said or done for me is... to accept my decisions and perspectives, but I ask their view and they give me something I don't want to hear... a challenge. I want their honesty. I guess it's that sense that I can be open and they still "accept" me, but it doesn't mean they agree with me... and they can be honest and give me a viewpoint that I have a hard time seeing.. my blind spots.

For exmaple, lets say that a guy "has issues" and his thing is to find a new woman and abuse her. I can be a friend, but doesn't mean I accept his behavior. I may get to the point... I can't handle being around that level of disfunction and direct him to change. This gets into "boundaries" to protect my own sense of self. Can't force a horse to drink. In this case, he beliefs what he is doing is good and right, but it is clearly bad for others... so it isn't rooted out of "love"... what we'd all view in highest esteem, but some kind of wound.

Someitmes its just hard to shoulder another persons stuff. I'm running into this with "politics". oh my god... it's impossible to get people to see eye to eye when we are so stuck in our viewpoints. The best are those who can say..."I see your points, and continually seek what is true and good". best I cna ask for...

It's a tricky domain. I guess we all wish and hope people will be their best, not functioning out of their "sub emotions" which are detrimental to self and others.

I would politely disagree with a lot of this. I pick friends based on their personality, character and how we click. Not by their gender. I've had both male and female friends. And I'll have their back if they needed me to and deserve it not because of gender. Not all women make good friends. Not all men do. But a woman friend can be just as supporting to her Male friends and men can be just as supporting of their female friends. That goes on what kind of friend they really are, and that's not defined by gender rather quality of their character.

Actually I consider myself as a feminist that supports women equally to men in all and every aspect. I think there is nothing in the world that women can't to do. That being said follow my thought process.

Since we are talking about women in human perspective. Here are my points based on human perspective

When we all evolved as so called humans

I personally think back in the day when we were all early humans men over powered women in terms of raw strength not in terms of reasoning that he is superior to men. But rather he knew that he was stronger than women physically thats alone was how condescending thoughts of women started but he also knew that they needed women to make babies and other pleasure.

2. As the civilization started and people evolved more womens mental strength was shown to proven success rather than physical strength alone which was evident from the lots of beautiful queens with immense mental strength and sharp knowledge that ruled kingdoms for longer time even then mens ego was not letting them to accept this and they used whatever tactics to subjugate women.

3. And the technological war age where German during the world war were forced to ask the help of women since they were out of manpower and that started the true acceptance of women equal role in the society.

4. In today's age where there are lot of great women in somany different fields who rule the world.

See this how women have been through to be in the world as how they are today.

In my first three points men were agaisnt men like statistically but beyond that still few men supported her and that's why she still exist today.
Yes I do agree to certain level that women need to support each other first because of the history because of condemnation and hypocrisy they have been subjected to.

But in today's generation they need to stuck and support souls people who are truly supporting their personal goals and spirits for their well being.

Example 1 . You can have a women who will cheat you for your rich husband? Also you can have a loyal guy friend who will treat your sister has his sister because he respects and loyal to you.

Example 2. You can have an husband who could leave you for his career where as womwn work colleague can support you and bring you back on foot
