yeah I guess you mean single Moms not single women? If not single women who are these men going after, married ones? Does divorce make it better. All good things.
If I was single I wouldn't date a man that doesn't have children of his own. I wouldn't expect him to prioritize me over his children and I wouldn't prioritize him over my children.
Not all women may want or prioritize a potential relationship. I'd say most people rightfully prioritize their children first and foremost. Any potential relationship should be an afterthought.
If you view any potential relationship or a current relationship as an "afterthrought" you will be a lonely 50 year old woman with depression, overweight and desperate to marry a stable 70 year old man because your best years of find a quality man your age left you. Then you will be pining to go back in the past wishing that you had treated the one that got away better and showed how much you cared enough for him to stay. Instead you are now an angry 60 year old woman living alone in some tiny apartment with 12 cats and watching 40 year old re runs of friends.
Hahaha wow friend you sound like you're taking it a bit personal there. My husband and I have been married 5 years and are expecting our first child. I intend to prioritize my child and marriage equally but if i weren't currently married, I'd be putting my child miles above any man I may or may not get into a relationship with and would be happy to do so. Luckily though, I'm married and very happily so. But I appreciate your... input
@FriedPickles1218 yes so you dont think one can be hot and modest at same time? Well guess what im 43 so i disagree. I am hit as heck with my clothe off and very modest at same time and a natural redhead how is that not hot sir?
@FriedPickles1218 i maverage looking what when you compare me to a 20 year old when im almost 45? A natural strawberry blonde i mactualyl very unique looking not averaga at all
@FriedPickles1218 So you know im a nurse and in the helping field for one. Two i never got drunk in my life or smoked. three i put my daughter first over anyone and her dad left me as soon a i got pregnant. So i dont wnat to hear the word modest wit hem especially when i never had father figure to begin with. In real life i dont do half the stuff most girls do.
@Rebecka33 when you call yourself hot, that's not being modest. Don't get me wrong. I find you very attractive honestly. I just think that from an objective point of view, your pretty average looking. There's nothing wrong with that. I'm average looking too. Also, yes, you look very good at your age.
@FriedPickles1218 so you think i look unique asa natural redhead? I gues the moral of the story is what is hot to you long eyelashes which i have blue eyes which i have? Pale white skin which i have pink nipples whick i have blodne pubes which i have? or do you prefer darkeer beauties lol casue of htats ok then i guess you wouldn't consider me attractive some guys like darker som like lighter. My daughter i s half mexican so she's darker with brown eyes.
FriedPickles1218 i guess i may be average looking to some depending on what they find attractive and hot as heck to another. Most guys consider me hot as heck when im in bakini or naked. Some consider me average it depends on preference.
@Rebecka33 I know that the question about your hair was not directed at me. But I would like to offer my two cents.
Yes. I think as a redhead you DO look unique. Red heads are rare and pretty much one of the sexiest hair colors you can have. So congrats to you. Typically if I see a redhead I automatically by default have to ask them out on a date. Its just that fuckin rare and special.
I know there was a lot of things said back and forth. But I think the point in general that I am making in the title is that if you truly want a man. If you truly want a relationship to work. YOu must prioritize the relationship equal to prioritizing the kid. I like how Felicictyoyo said that she prioritized her marriage equal to her kids. I think that is a smart play. You would be the type of woman I would want to marry because that has the right mindset. But I think where many women go wrong is thinking that a woman should prioritize a man early on in dating if she has a kid. That is a bad strategy. Sure do that if you just want some dick and are just playing games. But if you are serious about dating a man who will be a father figure to your child. Respect his time. Respect his schedule. Be true to what you say. Be true to your commitments to him. Dont play mind games. Because if you treat him like he doesn't matter... you won't even get that man to the alter. The dating process is like prom. It is marriage rehearsal. Its rehearsal for that wedding day. Ladies are treating my mytake as a an attack on women. It is not. It is advice to women who are single and want a man in their life. I am keeping it completely real based on how men think.
Thank you I was talking to fried pickles who'd said I wasn't hot at al and very average looking. as a redhead lol I thought we stood out differently but he says no from guy which made my self esteem as a natural redhead go out the window cause we get teased enough growing up for being different tha is for clarifying.
@Felicityoyo Don't be a cunt to your husband and chase him away. Too many women your age have a kid or two than decide they want to return to the partaaaaay days, so they dump their husband.
@KrakenAttackin um that's not at all true but aight. If I ever divorce my husband it'll be for a very significant reason. But I'm sure you, a most likely bitterly single 40 year old man would know.
Single women prioritize the potential partner yes it's their choice If not they are doomed to alone forever also yes it's their choice if she want to alone forever Overall your post has some valid point and some invalid point
This is a good take and I agreed with you all the way UNTIL you started talking about the "sex out of marriage" thing which should be anyone's choice and you kind of seemed rude about it :/

I was 19 when i broke up with my first and last boyfriend. Now i'm 27 i don't have kids, i just really don't know how to get in a relationship, i notice when someone has a crush on me but i don't know how to continue so it ends in nothing. I guess it depends on the personality more that social or if she has kids or not. My English is bad, sorry.
You will be lonely for the rest of your life until you realize that you dont have to choose between your child and a man. You can view both of them as equally important. A child is a full time job and being a loving partner is also a part of the deal of a relationship. The two go hand in hand. It isn't that you are choosing between a child and a partner. Ideally, you are including a partner in your life and ensuring the happiness of that relationship enriches and maintains the stability of the entire nucleus. A man should not be a burden but a positive addition. If you view a relationship as a chore in addition to your child you will be a single lonely woman for the rest of your life. A lot of women are.
I'm a single dad , and believe me... children will ALWAYS come first , not a problem for me as I wish to stay single , it was my decision to end my nightmare former marriage and take custody
Iām currently being single because Iām not where I wanna be. How can I scour for potential partners if I donāt have any thing coming to the table.
At least you have the Self-Awareness to realize your not where you want to be. Some women bring nothing to the table because they lack Self-Awareness and then wonder why no guy wants them.
stop it! just stop it! bringing a child into the world with a stable relationship? a strong foundation? you are just making too much sense. I doubt the ladies can handle that.
Are you being sarcastic? Because there are a lot of women that can do it on their own and if god for bed I donāt find somebody by 35 I would like to go ahead on and have a child
You're being selfish because the statistics show kids need a father in their life in order to give them the best life possible. It doesn't mean they won't turn out well, but they're less likely to. I wish you well.
@RagnarRedbeard Wow, "Solipsistic", that is a new one for me. I googled the term and I think your assessment is spot-on correct. The holding two contradictory ideas as reasonable seems to be the sole domain of females. I am always amazed how women can turn their emotions for a person on/off like a light switch, which I guess is evidence of your theory.
@KrakenAttackin@cloud9vortex1234 The statistics also show if you have a great male influences in their life then it works. Iām not saying that there wonāt be a father but in all actuality look at the generation right nowA lot of women are single mothers and youāre telling them that theyāre selfish too Because they want to continue to raise their children alone. Iām not let a man stop me from having children if they are not going to be there or in the picture. Men have legacies but women do too.
@Justneedtokno YES. All of the single mothers are not only selfish, they are damaging their children and damaging the next generation of children. The destruction of the family has been one of feminism main goals and it has been wildly successful. The result? More dysfunctional kids meaning more dysfunctional adults. Nothing good comes from a single mother, nothing. And just because there is an epidemic of single mothers does not mean it is a good thing.
You talk about your "legacy", well your legacy will be kids who: - Are less likely to complete high school. -More likely to be drug/alcohol addicted. -More likely to be incarcerated. -More likely to be the victim of violence. -More likely to commit acts of violence. -More likely to commit murder. -More likely to be murdered. -More likely to have their own dysfunctional relationships. -More likely to perpetuate the above.
THIS IS THE SELFISHNESS OF SINGLE MOTHERS. You just don't care about your effect on children. This is the "duality" of women, being able to have two totally contradictory concepts in their minds and believe both (that is wanting "what's best for their child" and "being selfish enough to become single mothers").
@KrakenAttackin these things are simply not true. I know a lot of successful stories that involve children that didnāt have a two person household. Youāre saying it as if weāre killing off the fathers weāre not they have access to their children itās also on the guys to be there no oneās telling them to walk away no oneās telling them that they canāt see their children no oneās saying they donāt have father. All I was saying was Iām trying to get myself together for a potential partner but if thereās no potential partner then I must carry-on to. Agree to disagree
Wrong. Regarding the fathers, single-mothers are doing one of two things: A) You are choosing to get pregnant by men who you KNOW will not stay with you (the players, Alpha studs, etc.), or B) You have a baby with a good man but you DRIVE HIM AWAY with your crazy. Either way, this is bad judgement and bad mental health of single mothers.
What Great Male Influence can replace a father? A father will put more effort and love into their own child more than any other male out there. I'm not going to say all Single Mothers are selfish. It depends on if they're not allowing the father to see their kid. I get it if the father is abusive, but if not then she's a bitch and her kid will grow up to hate her for it.
@cloud9vortex1234 She does not care, she is simply seeking to rationalize her untenable and hypocritical position. Also, where would this "strong male influence" come from? A string of boyfriends and fuck buddys who occasionally watch cartoons with the kid?
Her mentality is a symptom of the deeper cancers that are single mothers.
When I was single I never would date a woman with a kid. I want my wife to myself and we will have our own kids. Do not want an instant family and a woman impregnated by some other guy.
They aren't doomed to be alone. They are doomed to be with the shittiest men. They shouldn't complain when they are beated and cheated on or he neglects her and the child. No shit thats going to happen and she knows it.
Even if you have children. When you dont have a lover that is holding you at night and giving sweet kisses in the morning or supporting you when you have a real shitty day... unless you have that... there is a missing place in your heart.
She is a "heroic" single-mother... you know, the kind of woman who is creating the most dysfunctional children who go on to be the most dysfunctional adults, with the highest rates of incarceration, suicide, mental illness, drug addiction, violent tendencies, sexual deviation, et. al.

im pretty hot and at 70 would probably look 50 so ithink plenty of 90 years old men would take me lol.
@Rebecka33 your average looking. Don't get me wrong, your definitely cute. But hot is a stretch lol. Modesty is attractive ya know? š

You should write a separate post

I am a single woman and I know exactly what I do and do not want in a man and I am staying with my decision on this ! Thanks
It's true. But I'm okay with staying alone. If it happens, ok. But if not, it's not a big deal anymore.
Partners should not ask to be put ahead of kids, they are adults who can handle themselves, children are children who need attention.

@Justneedtokno You are selfish as fuck.
@KrakenAttackin Wait how am I being selfish
@Justneedtokno Deliberately having a child knowing there will be no father in the picture is bordering on child abuse.
You're being selfish because the statistics show kids need a father in their life in order to give them the best life possible. It doesn't mean they won't turn out well, but they're less likely to. I wish you well.

I think you mean single moms right?
Single moms do need to realize that "my child is my absolute priority nothing else matters" definitely helps ensure "why do quality men ignore me?"
They aren't doomed to be alone. They are doomed to be with the shittiest men. They shouldn't complain when they are beated and cheated on or he neglects her and the child. No shit thats going to happen and she knows it.
They should but they have learned that the men they know are mostly just sperm donors, entertainment and ask for money. So why bother?
What a bunch of bs. Shell find mr right when the time is right. 2nd when you have your children your never alone.
