Great points, all true.
To add to #1, men are expected to be natural leaders, and must always show confidence. Anytime a man shows insecurity, it's seen as a turn off. Women can be insecure, but men can't.
All these double standards are just how society is, when it comes to emotions like crying men have to be strong, and female crimes are not that bad compared to male crimes, since the female criminals are not that threatening compared to their male counterpart, and even if women get caught breaking the law they're treated a lot more lenient than men, and receive lesser sentences than men, women are allowed to be emotional and vulnerable because women are more in tune with their emotions than men, and anything bad that happens to a woman everyone is there for her, but it's not the same for a man because men must be strong, as long as you have a vagina you will get treated better.
Wow, there are quite a few bitter resentful women here who don't like it when the light is shone on their BS. Very good take. It might be very controversial, but this needs to be said more often.
I agree there are some double standards. But I believe they should be raised for women, not lowered for men.
Except I do believe men should be allowed to be emotional, just like women.

Unfortunately some of the female responses to this have been less than appreciative. In fact they have been what i expected. Insults, and worse. Thankfully some are not like that, yours included, thanks for your positive response.
Like Pearl says, most women want to point out the exception; never the rule. Typically, too many women play the victim card and there are plenty of exceptions where they are the victims. However, 90% of victims are men. Throughout history, many men died protecting women; never have women died protecting men.

all of his points are double standards men face. here are some other facts. women aren't victims of a patriarchy (a patriarchy hasn't existed for decades in the US) women aren't paid less (factually they are paid more than their male counterparts even with same experience , time worked etc) women aren't oppressed (haven't been for about 70 years now) feminism accomplished equality in the 60's/70's as a result feminism today has no purpose and is factually not fighting for equality. if you don't have anything nice or constructive to say be quiet

That is fine doesn't change the fact that correcting and educating those that are wrong or mislead is the responsibility of the educated. As is helping those less fortunate than ourselves. Most of the mytake entries were my wife's idea, granted we collaborated on it, i simply asked her to step outside of woman hood and asked her to help me come up with some double standards that disproportionately effect men negatively that society sees as normal.. Unlike you, my wife is a rational thinking person capable of both growth and change. Women like you are nothing compared to her.

She literally sliced my face up and when I called the police I was told that if she had so much as broken a nail I'd be going to prison. Being a man who as never laid a hand on any woman in an abusing way. I was shocked at that statement.. Additionally when I went to the hospital to get stitched up I was asked what I did to deserve it.. So yes there is a huge fucking double standard when it comes to domestic violence. But you're not intelligent enough to have that conversation.
