Things Men Do That Are Traditionally Feminine That May Be Ruining Their Chances With Women

Off of the one about masculine traits on women, there are certainly some for men. These are the more subtle ones that aren't really funny for people to make fun of but are nontheless turnoffs to a lot of women...

1) Being Too Sensitive

Men who are easily offended and fragile to people's words and life's problems are more common than society would like. While there is nothing distinctly feminine about being sensitive to a beautiful sunrise or being able to compose a poignant quote, being emotionally "fragile" seems to be reserved in many minds to women. Men should consider that their sensitivity might be playing more of a negative factor in their dating life than they consider...

2) Lack of Direction

Men can get away with lack of direction for a short bit but eventually it becomes "anti masculine" to some that a man feels no purpose and direction in life. This is why it may seem like men with great careers do better than men who only have "great personalities." Its not the money or status so much as the direction and focus. A man without direction means that he will float while presumably the girl will have the direction. While this can work more and more in modern dating, it might be hurting you guys more than you think to be so directionless...

3) Expressiveness

This is a tricky one. On the one hand, i think there is something charming to women about the guy who hasn't lost his inner little boy. Yet, I also feel traditionally men aren't permitted the same level of facial expression that women are encouraged to have. Smiling too much can be seen as "feminine" and looking sad can be seen as "weak." in general, it seems the stone face is sexier than the expressive one and your openness of expression might be a turn off.

4) Neediness

In general, I think traditionally it seems to be more "appropriate" when the guy is more into the girl than the girl is into the guy BUT the guy is more busy than the girl is when it comes to their dating each other. A man who is pinging a girl for attention/conversation/rapport/bonding can be seen as a little more feminine than the reverse. Guys who are honestly attractive might be blowing it with girls because they are always texting them first, as though they have no life and maybe a little girly.

I think that as long as they find their path one day, their own way, men should be allowed to be as they are.

Same way I wouldn't want to change just to please people.

Of course there are some positive traits or skills people can learn.
But other than that I think it's ok to be yourself as long as you dont hurt anyone.

Believe it or not, those are signs that will most likely turn off women looking for a fling rather than a long-lasting relationship. Studies have shown that feminine men and masculine women are more likely to engage in a meaningful, romantic relationship whereas feminine females and masculine males are more likely to engage in flings and strictly sexual relationships. Those signs may ruin chances of a fling, but it would actually help the man in a meaningful and long-lasting relationship.

I actually think the first two on the list go for both men and women. I can't see a guy thrilled to be dating a woman who cries and is super emotional all the time. That's exhausting. Lacks direction... not a good look for anyone.
