Girlfriend is pissed because I fell asleep while texting?

So I pulled an all-nighter to study for midterms. Well when I get home my girlfriend texts me, I text back and just plop down on the couch while we're still texting, but I guess somewhere down the line I dosed off wasn't even more than thirty minutes. I see I have a shit ton of text and message her back. Well she wasn't too happy. Honestly what is the big deal? I just fell asleep of the damn couch.

thats a little crazy if it was only 30 mins or an hour that you didn't text her back.. i can see her getting angry if you dont text her for 8 hours. but such a short time is no reason to be mad and to spam your phone. she most likely thought you just stopped talking to her or was ignoring her so she over reacted. not cool on her part. :\ she's probably too attached and clingy. she's gotta realize sometimes you're busy, or things come up..

If you want to appease her, then just tell her that you were actually so tired from an all-nighter but didn't want to tell her that as you wanted very much to talk to her still and tried really hard to stay awake but failed to do so. Ah, in that case, one more reason to avoid all-nighters at all costs. But consider her standpoint for a minute. She contacted you first for a reason either because she wanted to interact with you or she needed something. Either way, being put on hold for 30 minutes (albeit inadvertently) would've been well enough to piss her off.
