Crush's friend added me on Facebook, why?

The other day I got a facebook friend request from my crushes friend. My crush then texted me saying that her friend added me and that she had nothing to do with that descision.

Why would she do that? I don't understand the bennefit of doing so.

Is this now a line of communication for me to ask about my crush? does she think I am attractive?

Oh why not yes. I have been having a crush with a Norwegian girl since December 2020. Her best friend lately following me both on YouTube and Instagram. I decided to ask this best friend yesterday of the reason why she does that. She just said She was interested in / curious to know who I really am since my crush just appears to talk about me a lot to this friend.

Girls do talk to each other's about a specific guy a lot and especially with their best friends around. No doubt! My crush would reply that she did not have anything to do with this, by saying repeatedly, "I don't care. I don't know. I don't tell her to follow you on IG or YT." 😂🤘
