When i think about it its somewhat true even in school there is a small group of guys who attracts the majority of woman. While the rest of the men have to fight for the bottom barrel woman basically the whales.
I don't know how true these statistics are. Everyone around me is having sex on a daily basis, even the ugliest, dumbest, poorest guys with the worst personalities. But at the same time, I see girls always swarming the rich, hot guys. I've seen girls go for poor, hot guys. I've seen girls go for what they think are intelligent guys, which is purely subjective. There's no such thing as an intelligent guy. All *geniuses* that are human received their knowledge directly from extraterrestrials. I see girls going straight for the money, too. These girls will let any obese guy with money bang them. What a girl thinks is a great personality is completely subjective. I've seen girls go for everyone except me. Some of these guys tried to get girls. Some of these guys never tried to get girls. The universe just gave these guys infinite good luck. It's all luck. It doesn't matter how big your balls are. My body is always trying to kill me off every night. The global elite bankers, freemasons, and pharmaceutical industries have poisoned my body because they know what I'm capable of. But my soul is not willing to leave this world yet. Not without revenge.
I'm sick and tired of girls just staring at me and being scared of me. 26 years have gone by, every girl I meet is completely scared of me. I don't think so. I'm definitely not in the top 20% of men, and I have no problem finding girlfriends, or even random girls to fuck if that's what I'm looking for.
I honestly think that the guys who subscribe to this shit are either awkward as hell around girls, haven't actually tried to hook up with very many (gave up after one or two girls shot them down), tried to go the "friends" route first (which almost never works), or are being stupid and expecting girls to come to them.
Listen man, there are ALL KINDS of reasons why a dude isn't getting laid. I agree with this. I think for long term relationships most people will date other people who are on par with themselves. 10s will date 10/9, 2/3s will dates 1,2,3,4s etc.

What you seem to be too simple to understand is that "settling" doesn't make a lot of people happy--because it's not what many of them WANT. So the relationship suffers, people cheat, they start to resent others etc. because of the fact that they settled when they don't want to.

Would be true if woman at around 30 decided to give the remaining 80% of men a chance after their past their prime and now need them to provide for them and settle down with them for marriage.
Plus, almost all guys prefer and chase women who are in their twenties and late teens, whereas women like men who are closer to their age, no matter what their age is. If anything, guys are the ones who are being picky about what a girl should look like and be (young and beautiful) since their view of beauty is much more narrow (pretty much only girls in their 20's, or girls who LOOK like they're in their 20's).
Girls go for what they believe is the top 10% of guys. The guys can look like dump and still be attractive to girls. What girls are attracted to is purely subjective. It's all luck.
What if guys just refuised to marry that qould fix the problem. Guys who dont get laid just stop marrying those bitches. And thw guys who do get laid moatly dont get married until way later on. But thats happening already. Lots of guys just dont see the point of getting married.
Except the only reason guy do this to day is to adapt to the sexual enviorment women have created for themselves. In the past men were willing to settle down and be with older women past her physical prime in exchange for her spending and forming memories with him in his youth when they were both young. Notice a lot of old couples in past (1950's) have people celebrating 50+ marriage Now, women have backed out of this and think they can get plowed by alpha males (female hypergamy) and then when the alpha are done with them and throw them out for younger, want to marry a guy they ignored/treated non-sexually to commit to them long term for relationships/marriage. Men are just reacting to this after realizing they've been conned by women into a shitty deal and going for younger woman. If woman don't want to be past over for 20 year old then realize that chasing after Chad Thundercock who has 20+ girls on rotation isn't going to work out because you have a low chance of him choosing you.
I couldn't say this about all girls. There are some girls who chase 10's and think they "deserve" them when they're a 4 but at the same time there are actually plenty of girls who feel too inferior dating a good looking guy because they're way too insecure and they'll stay with what they feel they're "on par" with and that'll be a more average looking guy. Also look at that "dad bod" craze where girls are saying they guy in fact cannot look better than the girl and they "want to be the center of attention" and they'll avoid the good looking guy because they want to be "on top" so to say. So you got girls who date "down" for control reasons and narcissism alone. Give that some thought.
Plus look at any girl who has dated a guy purely for his living space and/or money. The guy can look like total crap and the girl will still date him if he's got cash.
So yea, I'm sure there are girls who will "only date 10's" or whatever and I do see some who really need to fix their vision, but I don't think this is some widespread thing.

Hey man. This is just my two cents but this is really true from my experience, and knowledge. I've been approaching girls for a while now and have read constantly about behavior psychology so trust me when I say that this is true. And it's rather quite simple to explain. And it all lies in the primal instincts of our genes, due to our evolution from animals. If you look at the caveman era when survival was number one, women would always be drawn to a certain 20% of men. Why? Because back in these days, only about 20% of men would be capable enough to hunt and survive and be valuable to everyone in some way. So it would be natural for a large majority of these women AKA the 80% to go after these "alphas" because of their ability to do something that majority of men couldn't do. This is still true to these days because our primal instincts still exist. Even though the role of the hunter has perished, the role of the alpha still exists which are known as the 20%. But I would make the case to say that this percentage is more towards 10% nowadays from my experience.

Well historically yes, men have tended to end up with women who were socially beneath them and women would only want men that were above them. Most men settle while most women get guy who is out of their league. I don't know if it is true or not but there's that other 20% of women. And no that 20% aren't all just ugly some might be incredibly beautiful but they themselves don't actually care as much about a guys personal appearance. I've seen guys who have not been considered "Hollywood" attractive.(They didn't have toned bodies and they had pudgy faces) but they were with very attractive women. Those are the people you should go for. The ones that don't place all their criteria exclusively on looks.

Except you never know whether the men with these beautiful women got them because of their social status/money. 20% ISN'T EXCLUSIVE on looks alone.
All you have to do is look around and you can see it's not true. People are pretty much paired up one-to-one. Not perfectly, but nowhere near the 80/20 nonsense.
Think about it. If it were true, right now there would be a noticeable, significant drop in population and we're not seeing it.

It's true if we are talking only about looks. But, charm is much more important. The problem is, male charm has been under attack for decades now as being poliitcally incorrect, which means that most of today's men don't know how to charm women. It's not their fault. Only the most determined men could ever overcome all of that destructive childhood and adolescent programming.
I definitely fall into the group of today's men who don't know how to charm women. Well, that's not entirely true, because I can talk to and laugh and tease and joke around with women, so long as they are not the women I want to date and sleep with. My guess is because there is no pressure in those situations, so it's not an act - I really am carefree in those scenarios. But with girls I'm really going for, I always screw up. Don't get me wrong, I can have very good and long conversations with them about common interests and share real thoughts and feelings with them, and they share theirs with me, and I can even joke and tease them a bit, get them to say they enjoy me and tell me sweet things. But I still fall short of creating attraction in otherwise perfect girls. They've only ever seen me as a friend in spite of this, which is immensely frustrating cause they're really unique.
So what is this male charm that i seem to be missing? How do I use male charm?
And can I use this male charm without being a "bad boy"? There's a lot of male archetypes I really don't like. I don't like cocky people who are confident to the point that it's cheesy. I don't like slick, investment-banker type, Wolf-of-Wall-Street douchebags, and I don't like hyper-macho, booze-and-drug-swilling, posturing tattooed tough-guy rebels without a cause. I think those people are bullshit and I'd never want to be one of them.

I didn't notice this as being the case, ie 20%, but I never had a problem and I dont think my friends did either. But I grew up in a different time than today's dating world. I do know that my then girlfriend, now wife's, friends told her I was a good catch and that she should stay with me. I dated girls from the public school and I went to a Catholic school. It just worked out that way.

I believe it. That's why women constantly say that all guys are jerks and that's because they all go after that same 20 percent of guys that are hot losers.
I mean in the real work at any age beyond teen years. When things actually start being less about looks and more about practicality. Looks do stay important but that importance diminishes as you start living life on life's terms and it's not just a dating game anymore.
Honestly, women don't really matter about how hot guys are. Sure, a hot guy will always attract more women, but that doesn't mean normal looking guys or below can't get any girlfriends.

Definitely true. Further evidenced by women initiating 80% of divorces. Its most likely the lower 80% females that used to pursue alpha 20% males end up lowering their standards for marriage partner when their biological clocks ticking, and after a few years they are tired of living married life.

Plenty of men wish they could date a gorgeous swimsuit model, but considering than something like half of Americans are obese, that's not going to happen.
