A lot of girls feel uncomfortable when guys stare.
I never wear dresses or skirts or short sleeves because I hate when guys stare. Even when it's a billion degrees outside I feel the need to cover up every inch of my body (not including face/neck/hands) to avoid guys looking at me. I'd like to wear a dress or short sleeves or something in ninety degree weather without worrying about unwanted attention from guys.
My sister was just complaining the other day about this, how guys driving will just slow down to stare at her. This one guy literally stopped walking and stared at her until she passed him. She was wearing sweatpants and a camisole with a sweater. SO aggravating...
It's a bit of ego. Women love being looked at - but god forbid it's by the wrong guy. Otherwise they invite the attention from guys they *do* find attractive, which was sort of the point. They forget that men are not given some kind of ogling-restriction and aren't going to know that they happen to *not* be appealing to the girl they're staring at, then find out the hard way if the girl happens to be cruel and makes an issue of it.
The heck kind of pants are those? Lol
Anyway, a good rule of thumb: Glancing is flattering, staring is creepy.
^This. If you stare then you're doing it wrong. A quick look is never bad.
I agree
It's the typical double standard of "I should be allowed to show my genitals because I am female and should have not have to be responsible for my actions, men should have to repress natural sexual urges or be considered vile and disgusting humans."
unless you are the kind of male she is attracted to, then she will consider it "flirting"
If you see something beautiful, do you not stare... like a sunset or painting... you try and take in as much of it's beauty as possible.
A male staring at a female he finds attractive is no different.
Thanks for MH.
It's about who and how. They want low-key attention from guys they find attractive. It comes down to an ego boost, most people men and women are always looking for an ego boost or some social grooming.

That was the best part about college. When the weather got hot out, at least a third of the girls would either wear skin tight yoga pants or shorts shorter than my boxers. Magnificent
I actually made a small mistake. Yoga pants are a YEAR LONG phenomenon. God bless whoever invented yoga pants
i don't know what part of Europe you are referring to but i'm pretty sure that no-one i know would want to have a stranger staring at them for a long time just to ogle at their body.
What? Should we dress like nuns instead? Control your damn eyes. At least try and make it less obvious that you are undressing women with your eyes.
No, don't stare. Staring is rude, no matter what.
If you go to a certain country, play by their rules.
North America: Canada, USA, México or North America: Canada and USA. As far as I know what is known as Central America is considered part of North America also in some countries.
You can stare at me, check out, dream, fantasize. Desire. Maybe even touch.
There is a differenced between being appriecated and leched over
Women like to be free and thats there way of being free and comfortable. Maybe you should go to the beach and they wouldn't care how much you look
They want attention from guys they deem attractive
