As an artist myself, it's nice to be with someone who can completely understand you (or at least understand you better than others). Creative guys do have a certain allure to them and many of them are so funny, thoughtful, and can describe you in ways you've never imagined. It's refreshing to see someone talented go after their dreams instead of conforming to society and getting a "normal" job and do the same thing every day for the rest of their lives.
With artists, there's a risk. There's a chance. They may not even make it, but I personally believe it's worth the ride. Though times are tough with little income, I value love and understanding over money.
I believe that women who are attracted to that quality are treating guys like clothes and accessories. They only like it because of what others think. They believe being with that type of guy will make them look better or cooler (like when girls discover a new fad). Intelligence, in my opinion, is much more important. Talent is fine, but I look at it as more of a perk than a determining factor in regards to a relationship.
I guess they have passions and goals about something even if they are struggling they love something and want to make a job out of it not just take any job that comes.
plus i just love artistic guys because i am artisitic and love music.
He doesn't need to be a millionare, i can take care of myself because i have passions and goals to.
Why do you sound like you're trying so hard to prove yourself better/more worthy than this generalized "artist" archetype? You're financially stable- we get it. But a rich, jealous, dull real estate guy isn't what every woman wants (some may be into that) and you should just accept it! Everyone has different taste. Stop trying to prove you are worthy to all the women on here!
Music changes lives and inspires millions of people on a daily basis. It can really help those who are struggling or can help someone incredibly depressed get through another harsh day. Stop giving music lovers a hard time. Music can save lives and it can speak to the soul.

Because a guy who has a passion for something is attractive. It means he has other priorities except just getting laid. Plus, artists and actors tend to be more in tune with their emotions. They have to be, otherwise they can't translate it into what they do. I don't know about other women, but a guy who can cry when he is touched by something is incredibly attractive to me.
That doesn't attract me, but I can understand the allure. It's their level of deepness that is attractive. Some women feel that if he is that deep with himself then he will be the same for her. What many fail to realize is that a good majority of those guys can't see past themselves in order to truly see her.
I love them 😍 I don't know lol, they're just my type, I adore artistic guys.

Im artistic and have been an artist and I will say that I can't stand artistic guys or the ones I've come into contact with so far. I attend an arts school and we all have this thing where we say to each other to never date someone from our art school.
I am very idealistic but still logical and factual so a partner lacking in logic is undesirable to me.
I think male muscians, perhaps, are able to express themselves better than the typical male.
Well starving artist would never be attractive no matter how talented he is.. for me he would be attractive if he has achieved something.. plus guys who are not artists are smart too.. and intelligent and that's hot!
u I've never been into artists or actors, just musicians and only classical ones at that. It's appealing to me because I'm also a musician. But that doesn't mean he also doesn't have a regular job or a business. He needs to be able to support himself.
Yeah the musical or artistic has got me blowing steam out of my ears. A large majority of women likes the melancholic, moody freestyler. So if you're referring to yourself, you are in the popular category of dating material.
The only reasons that I'm into actors is because they are usually handsome and not because they're actors, I'm not particularly into artistic guys

I don't prefer such guys. I like guys who are clean and care about their appearance.. Not homeless looking guys who think it's cool to look 'dirty'
