I always hear about how girls want to find a wonderful, artistic guy. Yet I never hear the same from guys, it always comes down to "hot" and "nice". That's fine and dandy, but why the differences?
Is an artistic girl too much to handle? Conceived too much artistic baggage?
Additionally, assuming a guy likes an artistic girl, what kind of guy is he? Is there some sort of general formula?

Because most girls are at least moderatly artistic. Most girls I know like to draw pictures of hearts or Unicorns. Or they like to make there hair nice or do another girls hair. Or have a dream catcher or something. So since most girls have more of a Mystical quality then guys they usualy fill this need. Every now and then you will meet a girl who has no artistic or mystical quality but its very rare. So guys don't need to seek out what's already there. Guys on the other hand don't draw pictures of hearts and unicorns and shamrocks. So only an artist guy will fill this void women are looking for. Believe me if girls stopped doing all these cute little drawings and things as much as guys won't admit it it would be a problem and we would start seeking out more mystical girls. But 90 perscent of all girls are more mystical then guys. So guys don't have to look that far.
personally, a girl being artistic is a turn on. my girlfriends constantly draws, plays 3 instruments, and can easily write creative stories for fun.
in my mind, if a guy is artistic and/or has respect for the arts, he can respect and be attracted to a girl that is artistic
That is true. Similar attracts similar... A guy an artist, a girl an artist...the perfect, but cooky match!
Too much musical (or any artistic) genius makes a person strange and retreated...I should know...
No, simply because I have calculated that the majority of the artistic women I meet don't share the same goals, ideas, views, etc. But that is just me I'm sure its different for a ton of other guys.
