Whether a girl is hot or not doesn't make her not seeking the same kind of ego boost a less attractive girl will get once she has a guy chasing her. It sounds harsh, but that's the truth. Can't tell you the number of times I've been really close to telling the guy to move on, that my friend wasn't interested. That all she wanted was an emotional crutch or an ego boost on the regular, leading him on like a puppy. :(

Guys tease girls because it is fun for both parties. It is a release from the everyday drudgery with a bit of fun. You mention that the girls will have boyfriends already. so? Talking and having fun is not only the domain of a boyfriend or girlfriend. If so, life you would be very boring.

They might just be naturally flirty, so they might not intentionally be leading you on. Or because they can, it would feed their ego. If you think that's happening to you, then don't give them the satisfaction of teasing you.
