I'm only 5'4 - a. k. a. the shortest GaGer over 18. I hate my height but I can't change it. I will always be this tall. Now I'm in a happy relationship with someone that is the same height as me. We love each other no matter whay but she sometimes tells me she wished I was taller. I tell her me too but that won't ever happen. Ofc I found it hard to find someone I would like, fight for and regardless of my height make them love me for who I am, but I did. If I can do it, anyone can! Being short is a bitch. Being a tall woman it always seemed as if the taller men liked the shorter girls so I see where you're coming from. In my opinion I like short guys just as much as tall guys (maybe even more so cause I find them very cute <3 ) , but some girls have the need to have attention on them, as in the media couples always seemed "cuter" if the guy was tall with a short girl, and the other way around was viewed as "odd".

One of my earliest and favorite memories is a female school teacher who I thought was the bomb... her husband came to school once to bring her stuff and he was shorter than me. He was a chemical engineer:)! She said she remembered first meeting him and the very first meeting they knew they were right for each other.

So don't take so seriously what is being said. Sure, there are girls that won't give you a chance... that is their issue for filtering out probably really good men (the ones that are mature and can handle rejection;) and thus she is losing out. Same way we are filtering out some women who are good women because of some criteria. Definitely get more education/training/ and self esteem development... that IS the solution. my experience... it is all about confidence. Even tall guys bomb out...
