Why does she touch herself when talking to me?

I've noticed when I talk to my friend she won't look at me in the eye when she talks, she'll look in the other direction or at an object but I get occasional glances at me then back at the object or other direction she doesn't maintain eye contact. I also noticed when I looked at her and she was talking while looking the other way she would start scratching her neck or brush her hair to the side with her finger. No one else was around us. Why does she do this?

Difficult to say without seeing - it could be that she's shy and flirting or maybe that she was a little disinterested. Revealing your neck to someone is a submissive flirting behaviour which I tend to do a lot and everyone I know touches their hair when flirting with a guy.

Dont know whether this old vid on body language will be helpful or not - I found it really interesting either way but hopefully you'll be able to see if its similar or not and draw some comparisons :)

I know I definitely do a lot of the things from this video as I've noticed more since watching it - but dont forget that it is just good manners for a lot of women as well so the only was to really know is ask her :P
