I'm not sure if I agree or not but it's definitely a possibility. I've always felt that status, and money were more important to women. I've noticed a lot of women just can't wait to attach themselves on to a man who has achieved things as if it's an accomplishment for them, even though they've done nothing for themselves. I think some women are just under the impression that if you're with an accomplished guy, it means they're important too, instead of realizing they are just leaching off of what someone else did.
That's why I hate seeing women talk about all of the things their husbands do as if it's an accomplishment of their own, get your own life lol
