We give men crap for fat shaming women, but there are just as many women who do the same thing. Why do you think women fat shame other women? What are the motives behind this?

I honestly don't fat shame women myself. But often its because it boosts their own self confidence. To insult someone because of something that they are probably insecure. Reflects their own insecurities.

Because women are always in competition with each other. In the words of Gene Roddenberry,'Women are a vessel of conflicting thoughts, emotions and impulses". Insecurity in themselves makes them lash out at other women.

Never heard of this terminology, but the less we judge others the better the world would become. People come in all different shapes and sizes. The psychology behind it more then likely stems from one's own interpersonal insecurities.

First of all, I have never met a man who has fat shamed anyone to their face. Second, I used to be 300 lbs and was constantly made fun of and laughed at by girls in highschool. Teenage girls mean, thats why.

Some do it to feel better about themselves. Also society put this idea in our head that we have to be a certain size and look a certain way and if we don't then we get body shamed and its not right.
