Why do people say girls don't poop/fart?

Girls are humans no more perfect than guys, I don't get why girls can't have the same bodily functions.

I haven't met a single girl who was in denial of her bodily functions or a single man who believe that was a thing. I think it's simply a joke because girls are more self conscious about those things in front of men they like so they won't fart or try not to poop around him. Thus the joke arising that women never poop or fart.

I understand its a joke but I know girls who are already self-conscious about that stuff so I feel like that furthers the stereotype that women aren't supposed to do normal things like poop and fart. If people didn't make that joke then women wouldn't be embarrassed to just fart when they needed to or poop whenever they feel the need just like guys, even though I'm embarrassed about that stuff and never fart or poop in public or with my girlfriend

Women don't need any special coddling. If someone is THAT insecure about being a normal human being then it's a reflection of their own personal issues. That is an insignificant joke that absolutely no one believes. It's hard to imagine something so beautiful, elegant and fragile is capable of doing such a profane, disgusting, vile thing. Biologically, men know that women poop/fart no matter how attractive they are. It's just better to pretend it doesn't exist and women don't do those things. When they do poop it's similar to cute little rabbit turds anyway and their farts don't stink or make a sound so it's still gross but not that bad.
