For me, it depends more on what is said in those messages. Generally speaking though, if you send more than three in a row before giving me a chance to respond, then that will start to be a red flag.

You should check if the guy likes "casual texting" or not. What I mean is that if a guy responds quickly to every message you send, he seems to like texting w u.
I prefer talking face to face which can be noticed of my texting habits. My messages often have " an actual meaning" which usually is either a question or a request. Still, I tend to write walls of text.
You should avoid classifying people too much.
