If he's stringing you a long, you can look out for these signs,

He will make little or no effort to contact you/ you will find its you that initiates contact.

You won't hear from him for days/ he will ignore you.

He won't make the effort to ask you general and basic things about you.

He refuses to do what makes you happy and its always about him and what he wants to do.

You feel like you can't tell him things because he won't care or won't listen.

He will say mean or hurtful things and then might say he was joking.

He will say he's busy or use lots of excuses when you want to meet him or will cancel plans.

To him, the sexual side of things is most important.

He is not sensitive to your feelings or doesn't remember important things you tell him.

He's very flirtatious with other girls.

He will have mood swings or get mad at you for no reason.

As for signs he likes you, he will do the opposite to all the above!

I think if he takes the time and shows that he's interested in you and that he's willing to work to get you (like take you out on dates, pick you up, etc.) as well as verbally tell you that he's interested in you is a good sign that he isn't just stringing you a long. A person who is stringing another person along usually doesn't make time for them and seems kind of distant towards them also.
