Why doesn't she trust me with her boyfriend?

I've been best friends with this girl for over 2 years.

Well last year, she got a boyfriend. I became close friends with him too, and now he is like a brother to me. They've been together over a year now, but recently my friend becomes very possessive of him around me. All three of us will be cuddling and she will push me away and say "mine." And other stuff like that. I don't understand, because she is my best friend and he is like my brother, so I would NEVER ever do anything with him.

Why doesn't she seem to trust me with him? Is it because I text him a lot (she doesn't have texting and they are almost always together, so I text him when I want to reach her)? Is it because he's my favorite person to talk to about things? Because I like hugging him and playing with his hair (you must understand, our group of friends does this all the time, is is not even a flirtatious thing anymore)? I just need different opinions and also if I should bring it up with her. Thanks!

This happened to me as well, though it wasn't with my best friend. Something may have happened that has made her ' nervous ' about her relationship, she's worried he' ll go for someone else. Maybe she's just feeling less confident than usual, maybe she feels he's growing distant, maybe she's simply jealous ( she could not have a good as a relationship as you do with him)

Just explain to her your intentions and how much she means to you/

That kinda makes sense. I've noticed she's become a lot more clingy with him. I swear she'll spam his FB page if she hasn't heard from him for a more than a few hours.

Maybe you should talk to her about it then =) . Just be careful about it it's obviously a touchy subject.

Just say something like ' Looks like you and your boyfriend seem to be getting on well" Something like that, avoid anything that suggests that her relationship is going badly!

Honestly, she may just want you to cool it a little bit w.him. If I were in her situation I wouldn't want anyone, especially my best friend, to be super touchy feely with my boyfriend, regardless of their friendship. It's also possible that she wants more alone time w.him. I wouldn't advise bringing this up w.her, just back off of her man a little and see if that clears up the issues with your best friend.
