What's the definition of a classy woman?

Humble, kind, stands by her words, backs them up with actions, carries herself with confidence, not quick to loose control of her emotions. Over all classy isn't just the way someone looks, its a way of acting, you can put anyone in nice clothes and if they aren't classy it would be "lipstick on a pig" as they say. Where are someone who is classy can be in jeans and a t-shirt and still be as such.

But as far as looks, I see classy as not showing much skin, no wild patterns, or flamboyant colors. Letting who they are and how they carry themselves be the center of attention, no their clothing. Their clothing doesn't need to catch your eye, they do that with her confidence.

hmmm... I think we all know what we consider a classy woman. I think most of us probably would even agree on what that looked like. But defining it... that's actually quite hard.

A classy woman:
-Carries herself with a self-assured, muted dignity. She respects herself, and takes it for granted that everyone else will respect her as well.

- Is honest, loyal, and above board in her relationships (all kinds of relationships)

-Is humble. I don't care what you look like, or how classy you may be by any other metric. If you don't have humility, you cannot be classy.

- Is tactful

-Looks well manicured

-Is forgiving, doesn't hold grudges and tries to avoid unnecessary drama. She has no need for drama for entertainment or excitement sake.

-is open-minded and broad-minded.

-Never picks on those who are weaker or less fortunate that she is.

-Empathetic.

Sexy. Classy is very much like sexy. But leaves something to be imagined (or for a special someone to enjoy in private).

I always had this idea that Jad Pinkett was as classy of a woman as I have ever seen. This was when I was 5 and I just assumed that she was classy for some reason that I never knew until I got old enough to understand why I liked her so much. Her movie personas, to me, were classy. This was coming from a 5 year old black girl who didn't understand the context of the movies that I was watching. But I internalized what I saw in the movies and emulated her behavior until I was about 13 years old. Then my own personality and ideas started to form who I was as a person. Now that Im 21 years old I get called "classy" often. I think its all in the attitude really. If I had to name what qualities make me appear "classy"it would probably be the confidence and articulation that I internalized from watching Jada. For some reason Jada was as close to a strong man as a woman could be in my eyes, which is why I had always liked her so much. I think that being classy is to hold yourself to the same standard as you would hold a man you want to be with. Handle your business. Stay calm even when you want to freak out. Don't be a crowd pleaser. Don't be afraid to stand up to others. Be tough when it calls for it, but be kind. Be the one who takes care of everybody. Be open and loving, gracious, thoughtful, I could go on and on. I don't know why Im like this but for as often as I get called "classy" I must be doing something right

Classy for me is a woman who is confident in herself, doesn't show off her body just to get looks, follows her faith and is pleasant to be around. Any feminist who follows the current wave of extreme feminism to me is not classy. I'm not saying ALL feminists are not classy, just the few who feel they have to take their shirts off and write dumb shit on their bodies like "still not asking for it". Our society already knows that, not all men are pigs, the ones who are will not listen to your message anyways and not covering up is indecent exposure, which is a crime. Sorry for my rant lol

A woman that doesn't dress provocatively, doesn't swear much, doesn't sleep around, has good morals and ethics (goes to church, active in the community, helps people etc), calm/composed, respectful and has good manners. These are the traits in a woman that I consider a classy.

She handled her responsibilities like a professional, she can do an array of different things.
