In the time of our grandfathers only the women did the housework. Today we are here to help our partners. We can share the household responsibility. When we are single or when our women are sick we don't panic anymore. We got this ladies! Modern men can do it all. We don't need our women to be our mothers and do everything for us right guys? We can clean, we can iron, we can vacuum, we can store, we can fix and we can cook.And we look dam good while doing it!
My dad was born in 1929. When my mom went to back to college when she was in her 40s my dad had to learn to use the washer and dryer. My mom said he grumbled a bit at first then did it.
My dad was pretty easy going and I never felt like my parents had specific roles even though when we were young my mom did homemaker stuff and my dad worked and did the lawn work and the garden.
I guess I didn't really answer the question but it is nice to have a man help around the house. My ex husband could cook and clean. He was Arab and I guess non traditional that way. I have to say that between the two of us I was more the guy in the relationship. He'd always have his clothes in the dirty clothes basket and I'd be the one to leave some on the floor. When my parents were older they shared things and when my mom started having health issues my dad took over the cleaning and cooking. One social worker talked them into getting meals on wheels because I guess she figured my dad couldn't cook. The meals on wheels lasted about 2 weeks and then they stopped it because the couldn't stand the food. They were used to eating healthier. My dad went back to cooking.
Yes !!! Definitely love it. It's great to share housework between two people. Iv dated guys that would mop the floors, iron, wash windows, dust off stuff in the house, basically clean the house from head to toe at least once a week. And I always thought it was awesome because I don't want to do everything. It's anyway fun cleaning the house together with some good music in the background.
My father often left me in charge of the house while he went to work, so I can do a lot of the things on that list, he usually cooked and ironed though, so those are the only things I do not really know too much about, but I can clean, vacuum, fix stuff, among other things, and defend the home if anyone were to try to attack, but thankfully God has not let that happen.😊
To be honest you're asking the wrong women, seeing GAG is mostly made of feminists.
Most women (as in like 70%+) like a man to go out and earn a living, while she stays at home running the household. Women have told me a man that takes on female roles such as housework & babycare is a submissive beta male & not masculine, therefore a turn off.
We can be masculine, have a good paying job, workout and help at home when we can. And look at the answers so far. They seem to love it. Of course they also like a manly man, they just don't think that a cleaning man isn't manly.
Housework is an adult task, not a woman’s task. Sadly there are still people that don’t get that. Because what’s a grown man going to do when his laundry needs done and wifey or mommy isn’t around?
I want to get a job and have a career. So I think it is reasonable that we split tasks around the house. If one of us is sick, the other can cover. If I'm 8 months pregnant and can barely walk, I'd appreciate if he picked up some of the slack. But overall I don't mind keeping house for a hypothetical husband if he's willing to help when I need it.

I know it is. Some girls already said here they prefer do to all the work. Fair enough, but most of the girls answers here say they love a man that know his way around house dutty.
What you would be most comfortable doing with regards to helping around the house. Or are you one who feels that it total falls upon a woman's shoulders to maintain the upkeep of the house.
When I was in college I was alone in a rented room. I had to learn to clean, cook, iron, fix stuff, everything by myself. I even had to do some pluming. So I feel confortable doing anything really.
What I usually do? Well I always arrive after my fiancee at home so she cooks but I clean the dishes after. When we clean she dusts, I vaccum. She clean the bathroom I clean the kitchen. Basically we share the work in a even way.
I don't understand guys who don't help. How can you sit on your ass while your girl is working alone? Those guys don't want a partner they want a mother!

Bruh, this so right!😂 Not all of us are useless like some. But, I'm the type of guy who would treat the lady like a queen where she won't have to do any of it. Just me. If she wants to help then sure😊
When I was in the Army, it was still mostly men. We cleaned our own bunks and barracks and latrines. Why would a man who has done that not want to clean up in his home?
I'm not saying that helping is out of order but it's a fact that men generally do the more difficult and dangerous housework. Such as crawling through crawl spaces, lawn mowing, roof work, working under the family minivan.
