So... some women would be angry at being referred to as their husbands “smoking hot wife?”
If that’s not the definition of being a contentious twat I don’t know what is.
Glad you got a laugh out of it!
oh ya. nothing like stumbling across an answer that knocks you into Tuesday or whatever day (depending on what day it is) and - oh bahahahaha! it's just fun when an answer like yours pops up to say - hey - fucking don't take everything so seriously all the time! so ya - i appreciated it and got a laugh out of it! thank you!
Or makes me happy to make other people happy and brighten their day and give them a good laugh.
Imagine getting mad about getting called hot..
Lol, nah, I'd take it as a compliment!
But then again, my partner is a good man. If he weren't, I wouldn't be with him.
😂😂😂it's better than being called his fat ass wife

If a man respects his wife on a daily basis and like her for more than her body then no it isn't offensive. Some men say it because they know they are pretty lucky and they aren't being arrogant.
If a guy is saying it to brag and only likes her because of her beauty then there is a problem.
Compliments aren't a bad thing especially if a woman works hard to stay in shape when it isn't easy , eat right, etc.
This guy I just dated kept calling me hot and talking about how all guys must be so jealous of him etc. and it just felt like he wanted someone attractive to show off and stuff and he was pretty insufferable and selfish and insecure too. I guess it's different if it were someone i'd been with longterm and whom I knew loved me for my personality as well.
it's definitely not something to be angry about... maybe not in front of my grandmother but otherwise it'd be fine... sounds like something said in fun and in the spirit of a good time... to get mad would be wrong... besides if i'm in a mini dress I hope (my man) would say i'm smokin' hot.
Yeah the audience definitely matters. Basically don’t say it in front of her family and probably your family depending on how you usually talk to each other. If you have them, I think saying it in front of your kids is fine because it teaches them that even after years of marriage you should still love and affirm your spouse.
that's the absolute best compliment a man could say about his wife in front of her, and then to the rest of the world! why, in fact, some women would love it if he said that everywhere he went! cuz she's probably broadcasting to the world, her co-workers and friends and anyone else who will listen to her (like strangers on the bus!) that she has a smokin' hot husband! and she is so proud of him that she will look like a right mad idiot! but when she finds out that he says the same about her? Hello - that guy is getting blown whenever he asks! like whenever. he. asks. or. orders. or. whatever. he's getting blown. even when he's 83!
Certainly not. If my husband sees me as "smoking hot" I'd be flattered, since I don't consider myself as anything close to that. So if I'm hot for him, that's a good thing. It means I still have his attention, he desires me, he loves me. What else would a woman want?
Wha? How can this be bad? Objectifying her? I doubt it's that, because marriage is a choice, and a big commitment, and so if a person also gets someone they find really attractive, well it's the whole 'kitten kaboodle' (I know that's not the real spelling but it's so much more fun that way.) It's a nice compliment. There are serious things in a marriage/relationship, and there is the fun stuff, and this is the fun stuff. People shouldn't demonize and make it into something negative.
I think that would have been ok if he was15 years old currently, and married … to another 15 year old !! LOL It's also probably what his drinking buddies say about her behind his back, if she is indeed that good looking - who knows. But a grown man should know there are better terms to impress his wife with, like just saying "beautiful" or my "amazing and beautiful wife". It's also a much better sound byte.
With all the problems in the world, why the outrage? If his wife told him to stop making this comment, then people have a right to maybe be disappointed. But then again, how the heck would they know?
I am not sure why someone in a broadcast role would be talking about their wife like this, but whatever, I'm not their wife. It's her problem.
I’d love it lol it’s better than a lot of other things he could be calling me 😂 nagging wife, crazy wife... etc
I would be complimented if said in the appropriate circumstances. But to hear a Pastor thank the Lord for his Smokin' Hot Wife is really PATHETIC!!! He's probably one of those Pastor's that is Stealing from the Congregation owns Lamborghini's, Private Jets, etc... I get it was from a line Talladega Nights but still not right...

Actually if I was married I would be more concerned if my husband didn’t think I was hot. I’d be happy if he said that I was smokin hot lol
No, I'd love that. Who doesn't want to be with someone who thinks they're smokin' hot? 😅
Why would anyone get mad over that? I love when my boyfriend calls me hot.
The people who complain about this stuff the most tend to be unattractive people, and they do so out of jealousy.
You may have a point. Never thought of that. Good answer.
NO!! Damn I’d be over the moon!! “I’ll take that as a compliment, thanks!”😌😂
I would love him to call me that ! that would be the best compliment my husband could say about me ! I would reward my husband for saying that about me in my husbands favorite way too : ) ! thanks
If a girl said my smoking hot husband, I'd be ready for her when she got home. :)
Being a girl that does change things but why in your view were they angry about it?
Haha, if that's offensive then I dont know why people live and breath. Giving compliments is offensive now. It's a said day when we have to ask this question.
I would definitely not be mad. I’d love it! After all, I am his smoking’ hot wife 😊
I would definitely not be mad at all. That seems like a very nice thing to say
Not at all!
I'd prefer that over my fat pig of a woman
Nothing wrong with it, just another thing for feminist to complain about.
Be real with yourself, what guy that was interested in you looked at your personality instead of looks?
I would find it funny and be really flattered by it, actually.
There are bigger problem in the world than a dude calling his wife hot. People need to get their priorities straight.
I would be happy. Who would be angry about a compliment seriously?
I'd hugs and kisses the hell out of him and said 'this is my smokin grillin hot man. Mine! '
seems those not called smoking hot would have been triggered. this particular husband thought his wife was smoking hot. who cares? they probably wasn’t, but it made his wife feel good, i’m sure !
I would never marry the kind of woman to be offended by this in the first place.
I think that most wives would be flattered at their husband saying that about them and probably boost their confidence even more so!
LOL... No, why? Why would that be offensive?
My husband has the hots for me? Thinks I'm 'smokin hot'? What's the problem?
I think that would be awesome.
you mean some wives are pissed off that their husbands actually find them attractive?
That's a tricky question: the line could be heard by other people as sexist
The angry ones are just angry because they know that phrase would never be used to describe them.
Well, that was a joke in a comedy, so first of all: get over it people.
But also, while he wouldn’t pray about it at the dinner table, my dad calls his wife hot all the time.
If she was "smokin' hot", why would you not be proud of her and want to show her off?
LOL
That was funny. He's an idiot but he's grateful! 🤣
That is pathetic that a lady be offended
If you were offended, you have not developed a relationship well enough oh, why are you married? 😐😐
Depends on if it was with friends or complete stranger. Strangers yes, friends no.
I'd be happy wtf I'd be like yessss thank you king
It's not the most eloquent way to say it, but he's still giving her a compliment and sreaming it from the mountain tops.
No, I'd be flattered.
Anyone offended by it is a downright idiot who needs to experience a disengaged husband who calls the neighbour lade smoking hot. Then we'll see what you stupid bitches whine about.
I wouldn’t have problem if my wife said that about me.
No, I'd take it as a compliment!
NOOOO
Au contraire, I'd appreciate it.
No I'd feel flattered
... No?
No. That's a compliment
I would be happy to be called that.
I hope not.
It's better than, "The old hag."
No why would I be offended? I would be happy.
Is it smth bad? My English is failing?
Haha I would love it.
Nope, I want him to say I'm ugly.
I would be flattered.
No. He loves his wife.
Guys feel ifs a complement
It's a compliment girl!
Why refers to me as her douchebag husband lol
I would gladly say that if I was with someone
No I wouldn’t
