+1 yI have a job that’s considered “masculine” I have my nails done and my hair curls while doing so. I’ll tidy myself up in the middle of doing the job, wipe the sweat off my head, and get back to work. I have no shame in the job that I do and it definitely doesn’t steer men away from me when they see me on site at my job or if they ask me what do I do for a living.
I say this to say, I support women doing masculine hobbies, jobs, or anything that considers getting your hands dirty. If it’s a turn off to any man then that’s his problem and personal issue.10 Reply- 546 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic.
+1 yFighting an fishing aren't masculine things. but lets for a moment assume they follow the stereotype.
If she is into doing either of those herself, it's a turn off, not because it's masculine, but because the first has risk of injury, and the second is boring af as far as hobbies go, you just sit there waiting, a fish bites, and you either release it's smelly ass, or you cook and eat it, and it's kinda bleh as far as taste goes (at best, at worst its disgusting).
If she is into playing a fighting video game, or having pet snakes, or has a collection of gundam model kits she custom made, or some other nerdy hobby usually viewed as for guys only, then it's a huge turn on. "Tomboy" brain in a femenine body is literally the best.10 Reply Beats the feminine ones. I don't get the big deal about shopping. As long as she can look nice when she takes off her clothes, I'm not complaining. I would complain more about waiting for her to put on make-up for a whole hour or going shopping for 2 hours.

+1 y"Is a girl having masculine hobbies a turn off?"
I would say yes. I can't really think of a masculine hobby that a woman would have that would not be a turnoff to me.
I enjoy fishing and had 15 years of martial art training. But I'd have to say that its not attractive to me when women enjoy these things.26 Reply- +1 y
It's fine with me if women want to do these things. It's just not attractive to me.

So you were the downvote? 😉

Just playin' wit cha. Doesn't really matter. But thanks for the upvote. Here's one for you. 👍🏼
What's a "masculine" hobby?
The Scots used to say "don't give a sword to a man who can't dance"
My great grandmother made hand carved wooden furniture
My dad stitched tapestries
I was a ballet dancer and a marksman
Which are the "masculine" hobbies?30 Reply
+1 yNope.
my ex girlfriend was a WUMA instructor and fought in competition.

Also both her and my Ex wife held motor racing competition licences
I find confident, independent and inspirational women a turn on.10 Reply
+1 yGood question, thank you for asking it!
For me no, not at all! I'm interested in all kind of new things and hobbies so whatever she does and shows me, be it ''masculine'' or ''feminine'', it's always interesting to me!12 Reply- +1 y
That's awesome!

+1 yI don't think hobbies should be gendered. I enjoy fishing, I've tried out some martial arts and enjoyed it, I've played sports that mostly men play. 🤷🏻♀️

+1 yWhen did fishing and martial arts become guy hobbies? I used to fish all the time with my dad lol. I think hobbies are just that, hobbies.
+1 yI don't really think those hobbies are masculine, many girls do martial arts and fishing is just fishing.
21 Reply1.6K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. No, On our first date I took my future wife out in my little boat to go fishing. She was insulted I asked her if she wanted me to bait her hook. I knew then that she was a keeper.
21 ReplyIt's kinda hot but I wouldn't call self defence masculine or a hobby and fishing is a no from me I hate the smell of fish.

@cth96190 LOL once when I was pretty young...4 or 5 years old, I think, I kept on bugging my dad to take me fishing so I could see what it was like. I felt something pull on the line and I was like, "OMG DAD DAD DAD THERE'S A FISH!!!" but it was just some river grass that got caught on the line XDDD I wasn't even near the deep water
+1 ySimilar interests are great most of the time. However, my ex was into muay thai and fighting and I wasn't and it was also pretty masculine which was honestly kind of a turn off. Still loved her though, but I think I do prefer when girls have hobbies that are feminine like yoga. I would love if a girl liked soccer like me or hiking, kayaking, camping... all that stuff.
06 Reply- +1 y
Where did I imply that? I said I prefer that we have the same interests, but I prefer if she's not into masculine stuff like like fighting, especially since I'm not into it.
- +1 y
Not into fighting sports (just that one thing) makes you assume I'm not masculine? Lol
- +1 y
What because I don't grow a beard? Low IQ logic baffles me. It's sad that you're just taking shots at me because I stated my honest opinion on girls that enjoy fighting sports. It's clear you only wanted one opinion on your post because you posted pictures of yourself fighting. What a pathetic mindset you have.
No, I would like a girl who does martial arts and would date her over who does not do martial arts...
This is how I met one of my exes...
Only exception is when she does any hobbies, where she has a lot of muscles and becomes female Hulk..10 ReplyNo not really but guns would be weird for both men and women to be fair and as long as I don’t have to go hunting or fishing and shit
11 ReplyHow is karate/fishing even a masculine hobbie? Their literally hobbies. Honestly it’s stupid that people bring gender into everything. People can like whatever they want to like

+1 yI think it’s cute. I’m not into prissy girls, so a woman that can fight and fish that is very attractive.
21 Reply@WowwGirl, You might as well have told me specifically not to answer, because my answer would have been a resounding "HELL THE FUCK NO" in 5 different languages.
12 Reply- 659 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic.
+1 yGenerally no but with some big exceptions.
1. If she's masculine because of it. Ie she into wilderness survival so much its her life and she never does anything feminine, thats a turn off.
2. If it interferes with her femininity. Ie bikini physique model is fine but female body builder in a non tested category... fuck no.10 Reply Fishing isn't masculine i actually would love if my girl do fishing i love fishing myself.
Martial arts is good for her to defend herself in case i wasn't around. But not as a life style or career that takes her full time beside i wouldn't be happy to see my wife injured or her face bleeding even if its sport i won't be able to handle it. No body touch her 😠12 Reply- +1 y
My mom refused to learn martial arts and then she and my dad got married... before I was born they moved to alaska and my dad bought a literal mace for my mom to take when she walked the dog by herself in case any bears came... but she still doesn't want to learn how to use firearms or a martial art. I love her but sometimes I don't get her at all.. lol
+1 yI don't think a hobby can be masculine or feminine. Do whatever is fun.
11 ReplyIf she really likes masculine hobbies then that can actually be a plus, but if she herself is masculine that is a turn off, most guys do not want to date someone that acts like a dude, but liking hobbies that are typically male, I got no issue with that at all.
20 Reply1.8K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. No :) if it's fun it's fun! And if they have the same interest it's a plus, right?

+1 yit's not a turn off for most men if a woman has A masculine hobby. but if there's nothing feminine about her character, that would deter most men.

maybe those people thinking of a girl having "some" male aspects to her. and to that i agree. however a girl having no feminine aspects besices her physical body? dunno about that one.

+1 yIt's a turn on actually if we both to do it together but if that hobby means her interacting with other men that might be a deal-breaker for me. But nothing would be as fun as to go hunting together and enjoy the delicious food we cooked together.

Would you rather if women looked after their hair, nails and makeup or forgot about that and just pumped iron in the gym? ↗

11 Reply 3K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. No, it's a turn-on. I used to hot-lap sports cars and it was very cool when a woman came to drive. She got lots of attention.
20 Reply388 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. No it is definitely a turn on because she's challenging herself and that's beautiful I think there's something so hot so beautiful and sexy about that

+1 yThe opposite. If a woman shares my love of cars, for instance, that is a huge turn on. It means we share more together. It means when I speak, I am not talking to an unconcerned wall of blank stares.

20 ReplyNot at all.
I would be delighted if I found a woman who was into martial arts, shooting, kendo, fencing and had military experience.
So far, I have struggled to meet a woman who was not a man-hating Feminist, or straight out insane.03 Reply- +1 y
