It is not the end of the world.

Being aromantic simply means that you don't give your feelings the necessary importance.

First you have to define yourself. Which type of aromantic person are you. There are basically 2 types of aromantic humans.

1. Aromantic sexually or
2. Aromantic asexually

You need to define how you are in regard to the 2 options. It does not mean that you are totally void of romantic emotions but simply that you have failed to put them into practice.

You can still care for someone and love them but without having any physical closeness.

You’re the first openly aromantic person I’ve seen here so that’s nice. However, I can also relate because I’m aromantic (sexual) as well. You’re gonna get garbage responses from most of the people here because they don’t get it. I think you may need to define it is you are looking for more. Aromantiscm is a spectrum so you need to determine where you fall on it. What type of relationship do want with a woman? You can have a relationship without it being romantic and still care for somebody or have sexual feelings for them. Personally, I’ve never experienced what people call “love” and doubt I will and I hate the thought of romance like people normally describe so I usually treat women I take an interest in more like friends than a romantic date.
