PS I do not abstain from alcohol I simply don't enjoy it the way I used to so for anyone who's thinking about telling me good job for not drinking alcohol I can't take credit for that because it's just simply something I don't desire anymore if I do have a craving for a beer or a shot of whiskey I don't hesitate to get it since I haven't had any in 6 years I guess I can treat myself, if that day comes. I don't object to alcoholic beverages being served I just don't like being forced or pressured with attitude to buy one when I prefer to have an orange juice or soda shouldn't that be my decision to make since I'm the one that actually earned that money that would be going toward paying for whatever I'm in the mood to have that evening with my meal?

I come from a family my dad was an alcoholic
in his younger years, we were teens at the time
also on my late mom's side of the family is
alcoholism and drug addiction but my mom
passed due to cancer, age 58 she lived for
2 years to see her grand-daughter

Not as long as she knows how to relax without it and have fun. In not a big drinker at all so it wouldn't matter, although it is nice to have a glass of wine together once in a while but it's not the end of the world.
