I won't date a girl who drinks, is this a weird preference for me to have?

Is it odd that I won't date a girl who drinks alcohol? some people say that this preference is too much is it?

Not at all. I wonder if its a culture thing or a religion thing. You have the right to be with whoever you want. I'm sorry but girls who drink sometimes act crazy and out of control so that might be a reason as well. GIrls have their standards so you should be able to have yours and I'm sure there are girls out there you don't drink so don't worry.

I don't think so, there are people who don't drink. I don't care to drink, in fact I hate feeling drunk, I don't have control of myself completely and never have a great time. I do like a glass of wine every once in awhile.

The vast majority of people in Western society drink alcohol occasionally, at least. So wanting a girl who doesn't drink any at all is a little much indeed.

How many do you know that DO? You can know 1,000,000 people who don't drink and it's still limiting your options by 97.6% in North America.

And that's fine for you but it's still cutting the amount of available girls in your age bracket by literally 65% or more. I see where you're coming from and I'm not a fan of girls who drink either but in moderation, it isn't a problem, in my opinion.

No, it's not weird. I doubt I would date a guy who *doesn't* drink alcohol. We all want people who fit in with our lifestyles.
