Why can't all women be like this?

I go to a fitness center with a pool. One of the female lifeguards approached me (college age) and talked to me the entire time. She initiated the conversation and kept talking to me for about 20 to 30 minutes.

It is extremely rare for a woman to approach me and start talking like that. Normally, I am invisible to girls.

I pretty much asked her out. I asked if she wanted to "hang out" sometime, but she declined. She didn't seem offended or weirded out, and we continued talking after that.

It's extremely rare for any woman to approach a guy like that but it's possible she might have only approached you for business reasons or trying to get you to become a client to her, or do you think she was only using you for validation?

I don't know man. I am virtually invisible to all women, so I was just glad for the confidence boost.

Why don’t you make the first move and approach women first? Maybe you’re not invisible it’s just that some girls are too shy to make the first move?
