Girls, is it weird that I'm jealous about the way my brother is retaining his looks as he ages?

He's 4 years younger than me but when people see us together they assume that we're mother and son >:( I always feel wrapped with jealousy when we're together.

I mean if you see a girl who looks way younger than she is at least I can brush it off by telling myself "she's probably just really talented with makeup". Can't fall back on that consolation with a guy.

I get it trust me! Lol but honestly the jealousy stopped for me once I stopped feeling bad about getting and looking older. I think women especially get so caught up in vanity/wanting to look younger. We have to remember to stop and just be grateful for our lives. So many people never make it to the age you are now, as morbid as that sounds, but it’s true. So in your moments of wishing for youthful features, just catch yourself and correct that thought, turn it into gratitude. Because you’ll never be this young again!
