Is my boyfriend’s brother jealous?

He told my boyfriend he spends far too much time with me and that he should be spending time with his mates. My boyfriend and I are very much in love and like best friends so we tend to do everything together.

My boyfriend’s brother on the other hand is married with kids and him and his wife are always going their separate ways and out with their friends. I don’t think they love each other that much tbh.

Im upset at him saying that to my boyfriend though. My boyfriend said it made him feel like he was doing something wrong

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the brother saying that if thats what he honestly thinks the issue is everyone's relationships are differnt this could be a concern also voiced by your partners friends I'd u two dont have any alone time with eachother equally tho that could be what u two want and if it is continue doing what your doing

It is tho as thats his brother he is allowed to talk to him about whatever he wants its then upto your partner to defend himself listen or tell him he dont care

I disagree with that. In the same way I don’t poke my nose in to my brother’s relationship, it really is nothing to do with anyone else. Unless of course, that person asks for advice etc

Thats fair enough if thats how u view it but I see no issue with sharing a opinion if your boyfriend has that much off a issue with it its for him to tell his brother

Everyone has a different relationship style. It’s none of your boyfriends brothers business.
And don’t assume his relationship isn’t great. It’s good for couples to spend time with friends separately. Doesn’t mean they love each other any less.
But also, the brother may be jealous, because he doesn’t have that sort of relationship…?

It really isn’t any of his business is it! They have three small children and are always passing them off onto my boyfriend’s parents so they can go out and get drunk etc. They’re hardly ever with one another and my boyfriend’s brother is also being competitive with him but owes my boyfriend a ton of money as well
