So I met this girl while working away unexpectedly. It was immediate the connection, the same sense of humour I got the vibes off her and she was always hinting at why I’ve not made a move etc. Its my work place too so I tread carefully. Anyway one night we got together had a kiss that’s it, she was reluctant that night to do anymore which I totally respect.
The room visits happened a few times and we kissed and cuddled nothing more as I was reluctant to try anything since it is shared accommodation and others sleeping below and near us (bed had a curtain) then our work projects started and we haven’t seen eachother for any quality time since. We only text as we just cannot visit eachothers rooms etc.
We discussed our situation and that we should meet up in England when back home together later in the year. One drunk night we almost had sex but once again the rejection happened. She had been with a guy months and months before from same workplace and did not want to appear as a “slut” which I get. She said let’s remain friends but continues to flirt and confuse me and talk to me all the time for advice and hugs me. I try to keep distance but I’m confused does she still fancy me but logistics ie not ever seeing eachother since she is leaving soon stopping her committing to furthering it? She did say she was reluctant to pursue it since her previous relationship was messed to but I just sense that being a kind excuse saying she doesn’t fancy me and only sees me platonically.
I’m about to leave and she still wants to see me when I’m home later in the year but I just cannot be her guy friend and don’t want to get my hopes up if you know what I mean?
I said to her she was confusing me snd she just said we spoke about it etc. The pessimistic part of me just says leave it she doesn’t fancy you then the other side of me is like yes she wants to see me alone together in U. K. so do that.
