We’ve all heard “nice guys finish last.” But is the same true for women? Why or why not?

I'd say the problem isn't nearly as pronounced with women.

Like speaking for myself, a lot of sexual attraction vs emotional attraction aren't that intertwined. Her behavior isn't in conflict with how sexy she is and vice versa. A physically hot girl is hot whether she's good or evil. I just can't respect her or be emotionally attracted to her if she's evil. But to put it simply there's really no version of it where her goodness affects her sexiness.

It seems like for women, sexual attraction and emotional attraction are more intertwined. So there are a lot of ways where his goodness can come at the cost of his sexiness. Though I still don't believe actual niceness hurts a guy. It's just that a lot of things that make guys sexy also involve ignoring what a nice guy would do. In my case, I've always been surrounded by girls who "just want guys to fuck off" and "not be trying to get in her pants." So in trying to respect women, I would fuck off, or not try to get in her pants. The results are exactly as you would imagine. So me making a move and getting flirty involve me holding my nose and betraying what feels like a "good" thing to do. It's confusing af and why so many guys complain about this.

There IS one way I can see something similar in girls. Girls are often told one way of being "good" is to not sleep around or seem too sexually eager. So that would be a similar struggle. In trying to be "good" you may come off as asexual and lose a guy to a more sexually-realized woman, who you might see as "bad" or "giving in", which I think is where a lot of slut shaming comes from.

In regards to what? Relationships? I wanna say no but yes they do. It’s a shitty dating atmosphere out there right now and men are either the hit it and quit it crowd or just not into women anymore. The feminists took over and changes women from soft and beautiful to cold cruel fat and ugly… and the good girls will feel this too…

In regards to other things… if you can’t fight for first you’ll never get it. Being walked in isn’t a good thing. Nice girls have to stand up and fight too and they usually are too soft to do this. I respect a woman who’s soft generally but can get tough when needed.

Selfish guys finish first and think that concludes the sex.
"Nice guys" finish last because they still figure the male orgasm as the finish line and therefore they make the woman orgasm first to give her a chance to cum too.
Great guys finish first and then make their partner cum afterwards.

It's the other way around: Not automatically getting what they want tends to make people nicer than they were before, and things really do start to look better, after that. It's a learning process.

The finishing last formulation is really one of the dumbest things in the world, like being an asshole is the right way to go. Please--who actually likes assholes? They don't even like themselves.

Nice is just one quality out of waaaaaaay more involved. She could be nice but is she stupid? Horrible with money? Bad mom? Irresponsible? And so many other unanswered questions.

Sure a woman can be nice but is she girlfriend material as well? Or a good match for the guy when dating? Really depends on a lot of other personality traits/qualities. Not only is she nice.

If you’re too agreeable, too naive or impressionable the world will NEVER respect you and those who will go after you will probably go after you do manipulate you or put you down further to make themselves feel better.

The way it's usually used is true, because people who are more willing to do unethical things are more likely to succeed, in most ways people use the term. I suppose it's as true of women as of men.

I think that it definitely could be true. I think just like some guys can be "too nice", so can a girl. I think it takes a certain amount of initiative and self confidence whether you are a guy or a girl. But I will also say that I think that it's probably still worse for guys, because I think it's a much more dog-eat-dog thing for guys.
