In my experience, being TOO nice in the past has gotten me screwed over a lot. There's a fine line between being good and nice and being a pushover or doormat.
Men say they like nice girls, but they simply don't respect the ones who are too accommodating and bend over backwards for him when he doesn't deserve it.
It's fine to be nice, but most importantly: create proper boundaries and structure for the relationship so being taken advantage of won't become a problem.
