Chivalry is underdefined. If you mean like sword fighting, that went away with the invention of the gun. If you mean jousting that went away with tanks and artillery. If you mean some arbitrary term for manliness, that's not much to go on. 'Chivalry' to me simply equates with good manners, acting decently, and treating others with respect. That's how most people would probably see it today, so your mention of sword-fighting and jousting in some lame attempt to discredit the idea is as transparent as glass, and as silly as one of Joe Biden's speeches.

Here's my source: reality, the outside world, the place that people go to when they manage to drag themselves away from their silly computer screens. I actually talk to people, in real life, because unlike so many these days I'm not socially handicapped.

But that isn't your source or I would be able to verify it and while some people do think holding doors open or whatever is what chivalry is, most people simply call that manners and don't really include chivalry as part of their vocabulary except when referring to medieval times.

But it's a big world so we could both be right. The point is there is no need to try to make it political. I get that right wingers can't win on merit so you have to make absolutely everything political but you don't need to chase me around the internet to nag me with your disinformation.
