What do guys think about girls that play video games? Is it a turn off?

Every since I was a child I never really got into dolls or tea party things. My favorite thing to do was and still is playing video games. It's not an obsession nor do I put games over family and friends. It's just basically my favorite hobby. If they want to join me I'm very happy to let them. I'm still very girly though. I like looking pretty and wearing dresses. What do guys think of girls playing video games and is it a turn off?

It's very rare, but definitely NOT a turn-off! Only in the early 2010s did girls actually start to get into gaming outside of crap like WoW, The Sims, and Call of Duty. Those used to be the only three games girls would ever play. Girls didn't even get into Pokemon until like 2011 or so. I'm old enough to remember and girls playing video games daily would be like a Shiny Pokemon among the gaming community, ha ha! Girls nowadays are still a small majority of gamers, only 15-18% of gamers (no, mobile sh*t doesn't count; I'm talking about consoles or PC gaming, not BS like Candy Crush or makeup game apps), but no, it's not a turn-off.

No it’s not a turn off. I play video games occasionally too, not like I did when I was a kid. I’m absolutely crazy about Red Dead Redemption 2. All I do is just go wander around in nature, canoe down some river, or go fishing. Some times I just go out and feed the deer lol. It’s very relaxing as weird as it sounds because the graphics and sound are so good.

I think the only issue that you may have is that people can sometimes be snobs when it comes to video games. “Oh you play that? Really? That game sucks and it’s for little kids.” Stuff like that, but even then I don’t think that’s something you’ll have to deal with. Enjoy your video games and don’t worry about what guys think! Have fun and relax! Level up your characters and unlock a new power up. 👍
