Girls, question for other teens what is freshman year in high school like for you ?

So I'm at university now but my first year of highschool was what we call year 9 in my country. I found that this was one of the best years for me. Everyone was new so people were nice and open to making friends. We hung out in big groups, and often played new phone apps together that were popular. We had a wide range of compulsory topics so we all got to learn things from basics like math and English to unique things like textile work and art. People weren't partying or drinking yet so everyone was quite innocent and nice. Unfortunately issues started more in the second year of high school when people formed cliques, began bullying and being meaner. I hope your first year goes great.

My freshman year was interesting. Heard there was going to be initiation and there was not, so I was really scared at first. Also my older sister made sure nothing happened to me
