What Girls Said
I'm a senior now. Freshman year was my favorite so far because it was before covid. I had moved to that state the year before, I was coming out of my shell, made some friends, was in ROTC and everything was perfect. Until covid hit. Sophomore year was the worst bc that was 2020-21, was taking everything online, and my mental health plummeted. First semester of junior year was the aftermath from sophomore year. I moved to a new state, lost all interest in ROTC and quit, which I now regret, found it hard to make new friends, and my mental health still wasn't great, but things started looking up from then. Second semester this sophomore invited me to eat lunch with him and we hit it off. We're still close friends to this day. Come senior year, I've mostly healed from the past 2 years and am much happier and more extroverted this year. I've striven to make my senior year the best one yet. But I can tell you one thing is that covid has scarred me from taking another class online or ever working from home
