Just curious why the girl I am "friends" with, almost never puts her makeup on

If you're "just a friend" it means you're not on her dating radar, she is comfortable with you and since she says she feels ugly without makeup, she doesn't feel the need to be good looking around you because you're not a potential date for her and because you're her friend already and stay close to her even if she isn't at her best of looks.
If you're a very long time friend (like a childhood friend) then probably you're labeled like "family", sort of, and she does like with her siblings, not caring about how she looks.
However, if she is suffering of depression, she might be without makeup all the time with anyone, even if she feels ugly, even in presence of her crushes or in important occasions, because of a feeling of being worthless regardless. If this is the case then you can't track how she sees you based on her care on her looks because it would be the same with anyone.

I put makeup on sometimes and sometimes I don't. It's really probably 50/50 for me. Depends on what's going on that day. But everyone I know has seen my countless times without makeup on.

I never put makeup on for anyone, I put it on when I want to. Maybe she’s just confident in herself and doesn’t feel the need to change the way her face looks 🤷🏼‍♀️
