She keeps coming to me crying about the bad boy who cheated on her and she keeps telling me how much she loves him. Should I just give up on trying to help her and let the bad boy have her?

Yep, there is no saving her, take it from a guy who's been there, she was my friend for 5 years, I had the same girlfriend I have now so I was with someone and she knew that, yet when I tried to help her she started contradicting herself "ohh you don't know him like I do" and that she knows he's an asshole but she still loves him, when I stood my ground and kept trying to help her, she accused me trying not to let them get back together because I'm hitting on her, never spoken to her again.

Yes, if she knows he cheated already, he continues to,... but after she cries about what a dick he is, she just gets back with him, she's never going to learn.
She knows he's not going to change, that he's not sorry, ... she knows all of this, and still gets backwith him like she doesn't know any of it.

I know that comment was difficult, however, stop 🛑 and think about it. She is passing it along to you. The very thing she dislikes such as being taken advantage she is doing to you. Some people have to bottom out. Let her crash fully own her own. You may be hurting her UNKNOWINGLY. She needs to crash 💥 all on her own.
