Some guy's feel a little insecure around taller girls I've found,
I myself find them more attractive simply as it's odd to see without them lumbering around in 4 inch+ heels to try and top me, while my friend find's it terrifying and struggles to find someone shorter than him when out (Standing at a modest 5"6/7 bless him)

I prefer shorter girls, but I would have no problem dating a tall girl. Just because a woman prefers a man with a six pack, doesn't mean that she is so shallow as to not look at the kind of person the man is. It is just a preference, not a requirement of a woman.

I'm going to answer this question by telling you a story about something that happened to me at work yesterday.
I am 5'9" if that's of any importance.
A girl walked in to have a test done for her employer. I was the one who asked her questionaire:
She was in the neighborhood of 6'0" even. She had long dark hair, fair skin that was blemish free, crystal blue eyes, a pert nose, and high cheekbones. Her face reminds me a lot of the 'look' Megan Fox was trying to go for when she got her plastic surgery done. You could get lost forever in that look. She was slenderish but fit.
For a good 3-4 hours after she left, she was pretty much all I could think about. She was more beautiful than any woman I have ever in my entire life seen on any magazine cover or in any TV screen.
My last girlfriend was 5'-11 1/2" tall, I'm 6'-2", perfect. The girlfriend before was 5'-3" tall, perfect. Height doesn't really matter unless YOU make it a problem. And no, tall girls are NOT a turn off. It's really about the person/personality for me anyway.

And I would say that tall for a girl should be 5'11"+, although 5'8" - 5'10" is taller than average but not extremely tall. You're with-in the range that I find ideal.

no not at all. I know a lot of guys who prefer tall girls. But most really don't care. Personally I don't really like one height better than the other.
