I couldn't see the video, but no. A lot of men fall into this trap because by nature, we want to protect women. However, women that have no morals or regard for themselves, are not your responsibility. Someone failed them, and its normal to feel sympathy for them them, but stupid to think you can save them. The only person that can save a woman that is lost, is herself. And these women will inevitably drag you down with them. Value yourself enough to know when someone is simply a lost cause. Your future self will thank you.

No. Because I've seen too many guys get attacked for trying help a girl out who had passed out drunk while her girlfriends at the bar sat there, and did nothing to help her. It's especially a Gen Z issue. For example this girl in news near Lake Tahoe that went missing after going to a campground party in the woods. Part of the reason she disappeared was because her girlfriend allowed her friend to drive home drunk! She said so when interviewed by news outlets, and had no remorse for her friend driving drunk.

If you try to save a woman from bad behavior you'll just be seen as weak, and how you're oppressing her independence, or whatever other feminist flavor of the month it is.

Too vague. Acting very badly can be anything from being noisy to shooting up the room. Being noisy and then getting punched in the face by a guy who is thrice her size would be a hugely disproportionate response and pinning her if she is shooting up the room would be appropriate.

But the use of "white knight betas" makes me think you mean the typical unruly chick slapping and annoying a guy who, as soon as he pushes her away some lamer (s) run up to "protect" her when all the guy wants it to be left alone. Those clowns should be tarred and feathered.

Guys will do anything if they think they'll get laid for it. Ironically, I used to work in music security and bouncer work and saved women (and men) all the time. Not to White Knight, but because it was my job.

yes, because not interfering ends up with more severe consequences. good job men. reality is reality... lucky there was no concussions. That said... someone pulls a knife or gun (depending upon where it occurs), and you've got another level of disaster.

ask yourself what could have been done to save George Floyd and should it have been done? Yes, betas should have have motivated DC off of him... to save both DC and girlfriend. But it was a risky endeavor, verbal doesn't always work.

I used to know a couple that taught how to defeuse situations. We need to learn that nationally.

I guess I couldn't really tell by the video if the guys coming in to intervene during that confrontation were bystanders, airport security or a mix of both. I guess I didn't really think of them as white knight betas but more just guys trying to de-escalate a situation. They could be wanting something from it I suppose but I've seen plenty of situations where security and bystanders have intervened when two men confront each other or two women confront each other and it looks like it's about to get violent. Anyway, that's just my opinion.

I spoke about this video with a friend early this morning. Here is what I think. First, the man should have lowered his voice and simply called security. What would have been a case of simple assault was negated by the man going after her. I know my opinion is not going to be popular, but she assaulted him. Then stepped back out of his space. He then turned around and assaulted her. At the time she stepped back all threats to him was over. This reminds me of something I remember from my childhood. An eye for an eye leaves everybody blind! If it's up to me I charge BOTH of them for assault. I would also charge him for disorderly conduct for his actions later. Had I been there he would not have gone after her. He would in fact be on the ground screaming for an ambulance after I destroyed one of his knees. I'm not taking sides here. They were BOTH wrong. A female commits an assault? Lock her butt up! Don't attack her the way he did.

No. Women need to be punished when they act bad. As a society we need to remove the stigma of hitting unruly women. Most of the world no such stigma exists so I don't see why it should exist here in the USA. This is REAL equality.
