Depends. If he’s butting in all the time then I want him to back off. I’m my own person and I’d like to take care of my own shit, at least try alone first. If I need help then he’s more than welcome to help. But for him to get defensive for me all the time, no thank you.

Well factually we all like it when people agree or stand by us. So i would say yeah.
But i think, if your person defending a woman just to try be sneaky and basically to just get in there pants that's a whole other answer which results in mostly No.
With the only exception of women who like that is ones who use it to there own advantage.
