Do You Prefer Shopping with your Boyfriend or your Best Friend?

Whenever I go shopping, I do it with my mother. She does not allow me to wear certain dresses, and that is understandable. However, she does have a great sense of fashion. My best friend is the same, but our styles are quite different and she does not like the way I dress. She often says that I dress like an “old granny”… 😭. While I appreciate her advice, I also want to enjoy shopping. I don’t want to feel bad for my choices.

If I had a boyfriend, I would love to go shopping with him and maybe even ask him to speech a few dresses to see how well our styles match. That could be fun. Maybe mix it up. I like changing my style every once in a while. Oh, and also, he could carry some heavy bags. (I feel guilty for saying this, lol).

For now, my answer is alone. If I’m shopping for skincare or makeup, I’ll go with my best friend, but if it’s dresses, I’d rather go alone or with my mother.

it depends on what I am shopping for,, every day things, I like my husband to be with me, but clothes shopping I like another woman/girl with me, in that we have some great laughs, like when picking up a pair of panties and saying things like do you think so and so would climax seeing or taking them off, little things that make a smile com

Seriously, I like having input into what my partner is wearing because sometimes her taste is not very Americanized (born in China, moved here in 1991) and what looks appropriate to her is not very flattring to my American eyes. And th advantage to her is that if I am with her, I always pay for everything and take her out to lunch or dinner afterwards.

In my life I m 'best friend' of my female friend and she have 'boyfriend'.

So another day I got complain about her boyfriend from her only.

That she gone for her boyfriend shopping, coz there is gonna be an function at his house.

He took her to very good looking shop, for his suit. and somehow she didn't like it.

Coz he never took her to good looking shops, neither than he took her to local place to shop her.

Neither. I do better alone. I can shop at my own pace without anyone rushing me, judging what I buy, try on, or giving unwanted advice.

Nowadays if I want someone's opinion while shopping, I can take a picture and text/message said person for their advice.

The only time my boyfriend likes shopping is if we're shopping for my underwear/lingerie (haha). He'll go if I really want him to, but he usually doesn't get that into it (unless I'm trying on underwear/lingerie). On the other hand, by best friend loves shopping as much as I do. It makes going shopping with her a million times more fun.

Best friends are something else when shopping sometimes we don’t even end up finishing the transaction because we have way too much fun together by laughing and talking about stupid things.


Boyfriends i never really had that experience before where I go to a mall (honestly don’t even think malls are even a thing now ever since 2020) or a store like target, but if next time I’m in a relationship I’ll try it out it seems like a fun idea.

I love shopping with my mom and younger sister and we have lunch together while we shop. We make a day of it or if we go out of town, we just make a weekend out if it. I leave the kids with the husband and he has a blast with the girls.
