Does she like me or am I jumping to a conclusion?

I recently started talking to this girl who is the same age as me and about 2 hours away, we are both fifteen and we have been talking online. I was introduced to her by my friend who is a guy and they have known each other as friends for months longer than she has known me, yet she tends to talk to me more than she talks to him, does this mean anything or am i just being hopeful?

We've only been friends for about a week, but we already have an inside joke with each other, we also talk a lot and i seem to be able to make her laugh a lot of the time, she also seems to trust me. We share a lot of the same interests as well, the one big problem is the distance between us.

You could be jumping to conclusions and overthinking her friendliness. It is hard to say. We don't know what is going on in her head. If you gave some more context to the conversations, I might change my opinion. Going of limited details here, sounds like she just enjoys talking to you.

However, as of now, I would say that it is nothing more than a friendship. Also, the distance and your age are going to make it tough to have a meaningful relationship, especially consider you both should be focused on school.

Two hours is further than you think. Considering it would be a four hour round trip, that doesn't seem feasible at your age.

I would keep this a friendship if it were me. That is likely all it is anyhow.

Maybe she likes you, but people change their minds about someone faster than the weather changes when they’re 15, so since she lives so far away, I wouldn’t pursue anything with her. You should date a girl who lives close to you and just be friends with her.
