Why can Ecuador but not the us?

Why did the democrats send tax money to Ecuador for them to have a drag show? When my ldbqt+ friends asked the government for funds to support the dragshow here at home they were told no.

Why can Ecuador get money for dragshow but my friends can't? My friend Jonathan is a girl and she's crying now because of this.

A better question is why is US tax dollars leaving the US at all? It's supposed to go to things that benefit US citizens (drag shows don't count by the way).

Money leaves the USA because it is an investment in diplomatic relations and keeping nations stable and friendly to the USA instead of getting assistance and becoming friendly with the enemy. Foreign aid is a lot cheaper than paying for an invasion.

Think about it like renting real estate in foreign countries - something we actually do with all of our military facilities on foreign soil.

Also, if you give away your wealth to other nations, you become dependant on them to dig yourself out of debt and afford fixing the problems here.

The alernative is spending it on US citizens, US environment renewal, and city maintenance, not on invading another country.

People aren't going to attack us just because we are doing well, they attack us because our government puts military installations in their countries and provokes them.

Sending mash units to save lives in other countries is foreign aid, feeding starving people who can't work or get paid shit or no wages in third world countries is foreign aid, making the rich richer is not, and it only enables them to arm themselves more than us.
