The smell. I used to have farting contests with the other girls on my softball team where we’d compete to see who had the loudest farts. Everyone would laugh until one girl would rip a silent but deadly. The sound is funny, but the smell is offensive. I take pride in how loud my farts are, but I’ll never take pride in how bad they smell

D - Something else = All of the above. If in public, the smell, sound, thought of oh crap I Hope something else doesn’t come out as well. And most of all - the embarrassment of people looking at you.

I didn't think anything of it until an old man I used to work with let one rip and when I smelled it I abruptly realized the molecules entering my nose were just in that crusty old man's ass. Gross.
