Why did she turn her head to look at me while I walked by?

When I walked by her in the halls, the second I was within visual range, she completely turned her head in my direction as I walked past her for what felt like hours. I thought it was a coincidence at first, but when I walked past her a second time later on in the day, I caught her staring at me again. She didn’t look away after eye contact though, which I found strange. I’ve noticed she’s usually shy only around me, a bit anxious at times. But I find it weird for a shy girl to not look away when caught. And she also has no trouble talking to other guys or anyone in general, she’s pretty outgoing. So what’s up?
